Nice to know this, but a calorie count would also have been good, and what is at least the minimun quantity one should consume in a day? As for ghanaian officials and giving half information and never all.

This is simple as that every nut is good because they are loaded with all kinds of nutrients such as folic,magnesium etc.so just as you go for vegetables add nuts such as peanuts(groundnuts)etc. but be careful with the quantities especially those that contain sugar.They are good but donot over indulge because they can also raise your blood sugar levels when you over eat them.Same with banana it is good but just one a day is all that you need because of the sugar content and high potassium content.Just rememeber that to much of everything is bad.Thanks.

The dietary mineral contents depend on the soil. For example, the black specie contains more sodium than the yellow and brown species. The black is grown in the coastal region whilst the brown are usual grown in the Kwawu ridge. The nuts are very rich in Potassium, Zinc, Cobalt, magnesium, chromium, Iron and manganese. Good source of antioxidants
I am doing my PhD in this particular nut. I have so far come out with the following products; bread, biscuit, yoghurt, ice cream and alcoholic beverage. The flour has a low glycaemic index as compared to other nuts.
