In his view, Ken Kuranchie, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight, explained his 10-day prison experience after being declared contemptuous of court following a publication in his newspaper, said: "Ghanaians have no right to call themselves “civilized people.”

The one who suffers is the ordinary citizen. This so happens because the stealing and raiding of Taxpayers money never stops. They promise a rose garden and hand us bush of thorns. Why are we as a people taking this? I know why. The security forces are populated with their foot thugs who could not pass a competitive exam to enter the forces should that be the case. And they will gun you down in a moment should you protest.And nothing will happen because the courts are also packed with their goons.(Atuguba) This is a calculated master plan that JJ Rawlings bestowed on Ghana. But they should all remember that nothing is forever. The time beckons.
