  The work that Gateway4youth does in Ghana is very impressive.In a country like Ghana,blessed with all the natural resources and a good climate for business.A large number of youth find it difficult to make ends meet,get support or the opportunity to put them on the pathway to meaningful livelihoods.I am a beneficiary of Gate4youth's initiative of creating opportunity for the youth.I am part of a group of interns who were selected through a rigorous application system to be part of an internship program.An initiative of Gateway4youth in partnership with SNV Ghana.This internship program has given me and my colleagues an opportunity that is very rare and difficult to come by.There were 14 of us selected,and subject to good performance,SNV would employ some of us,and even if you are not employed,with the experience that would be gained from this 6 month internship, makes us marketable to other companies and jobs.Considering the fact that SNV is an international development organisation with a good reputation. Gateway4youth is certainly an organization that cares for the youth of Ghana and is making great effort to provide opportunities for all youth through their various programs and initiatives.I think this is a worthy cause to support and needs attention from the Ghana Government and Private sector.If we have more organizations like this in Ghana,we would be on a pathway to securing a better future for the youth in Ghana.
