There was a peace call before the élections in Kumasi but Nana Addo broke his own commitment and here we are.In 2008,Nana Addo did the same thing by boycotting the Tain run off,the first time in history to vote 3 times. The world peace strategists have already pointed out before the élections that if any violence will erupt after elections,it will come from no other person than Nana Addo.He has created bad name for himself when it comes to élections.Unfortunately,he has a very strong faction in npp that follows whatever he says.Ithink our problem in Ghana today is Nana Addo.Thank you.

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Guv, your Old Saint and his group misfired.
No-one in Ghana is saying that Ghana is going to be plunged into war and chaos, FOR CERTAIN. ALL what peace-loving Ghanians are saying is that ' a stitch in time saves nine'. There is a likelihood for chaos, as seen in other African countries.
Let's not forget that this is a high profile case, affecting the emotions, political and economic standings of all Ghanians. This is a case which verdict could, if emotions are not manged well, cause substantial havoc to the peace of the country.
There is therefore every reason for every Ghanaian to call for peace now, rather than think the constitution has enough provisions to ensure peace. We have no reason to take anything for granted, as Rev Wood wants us to do.
I find this position of Rev Wood and co. very funny, and makes me ask Rev why there is so much sin in the world, despite all what the Bible and Koran say about the phenomenon. It is precisely that because human beings know what sin is, but have huge challenge overcoming it for righteousness that he, Rev Wood, and other men of God had their calling as reverend ministers: TO HAMMER HOME THE NEED TO REFRAIN FROM SIN.
EVERY GHANIAQN WANTS PEACE, BUT PEACE WOULD NOT COME ON A SILVER PLATTER. WE NEED TO WORK FOR IT BY TALKING ABOUT IT.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it will be very
foolish and senseless if a person in our country who claim to be wise cannot see who and where all troubles in our country are coming from.
Every civilized and sensible person in our country, judging from the history
of NDC before it became so-called
political party justifies correctly
those who are the trouble shoot-outs
in our country.
If one is not an idiot, monkey and such a senseless Cow, the assertions
of Yaw Boateng Djan is totally fresh
in the mind of the majority civilized Ghanaian in the country.
Fellow country men and women, which
political party before it came into
being abducted 3 high court judges and
Army Major, Major Acquah S.K. if those
people whose parents were trouble
makers, from that particular period
what should have been the position
of our country? boy kofi or whatever
name you wnt to be called, you are
not a human thinking person, but you
are totally an enemy to the security
of our country, stupid, senseless and
total diabolical criminal in our
national society as all NDC bunch of criminals. And I can sound it solemnly in your ears that it will
not be took long the Almighty God, will set up a lightning to smike you and your family and any body you pass
interactions. God punishes you right
away.

The collaborative push to sensitise Ghanaians on the final verdict of the Supreme Court is absolutely necessary. Benny Wood and his CCAG should be seen to be encouraging it instead of sticking their proverbial heads in the sand and pretending all will be ok.Our democracy is young and needs all the nurturing it gets. It is better to be proactive now to preserve our peace.

Before Bishop Benny Wood said that "shouting peace, peace" was "counter-productive"...."It was unnecessary and could scare investors", he should know that the petition in the court has, itself, scared investors already, without preaching "peace, peace". Hence, the dwindling foreign investment which has been experienced in the country in as many months as the matter was brought to the court. War or no war, Ghana will not, again, enjoy the free flow of inward investment it had benefitted before. The damage has already been done! So, instead of advising against screaming for peace after Supreme Court judgement, the bishop should have commended, in fact, added his voice in the screaming for peace to prevail after the verdict.

It seems Ghanaians dont trust the judges and have no confidence in them hence the cry of peace and urging ghanaians to pray for them to make the right judgement. Let's leave the judges to do their job

I am sorry for this bishop. His brain appears to be too small!! The concept of "search and rescue" is a valuable one whether we have capsized our own boat or someone else is the cause!! The wisdom in the peace summit is that no matter the wrongs about the 2012 elections, Ghanaians must not kill themselves after the SC verdict. This is clear enough!!!!

So by your logic, the NPC should have cautioned against an aggrieved party seeking proper legal redress in the courts.Would you rather have had people take to the streets as has been the case in other African countries?
