paul in the uk no teacher will take your child to the police for any reason. parents cannot take the child to the police for non attendance either, it's rather the local authority that sends the parent to court.
you are right Akosua, just put it in context and read my opinion in its entirety. Of course one is not condoning the teacher's alleged behaviour in this case.
