The NCA should know better. Drop calls are caused by a number of factors including degraded signals as a result of the way one holds the phone and whether the user is located in a tin shed or the basement of a house. The mate ... read full comment

Drop calls are caused by a number of factors including degraded signals as a result of the way one holds the phone and whether the user is located in a tin shed or the basement of a house. The materials used in building construction such as iron sheets, metallic fly-screens, all reflect radio signals and can cause calls to drop.
While the network design is always blamed, it is not the ONLY contributing factor to mobile drop calls.
