Throughout history, most of the successful politicians are those who were not gentle. A clear example is jimmy Carter who was so gentle that Iran could even hold Americans hostage for over 400 days. That is why he lost his re-election bid. When Reagan was elected, Ayatollah saw that he has met his match because Reagan threatened to flatten the capital of Iran and other Iranian cities. Soviet Union came in and advised Ayatollah not to mess with Reagan because he can do what he said. Within a few days, Ayatollah released the hostages. The weakness of Mills was also his poor health which allowed people like Anyidaho, Ablakwa, The Ahwois,and the Totobis to virtually rule Ghana. Mahama was relegated to the background.
Mills cannot be the worse president because he was not a dictator, did not give himself awards, was not a murderer, did not give award of contracts to family and tribal members and did not sell State Owned Enterprises to cronies and wife. How many properties did he acquire as a Vice president and as a president? He had no multiple houses, no cruising boats and did not use state funds and workers to renovate his house. There were no arbitrary arrests of those who opposed him, people did not get missen and were never seen again. He allowed opposition to speak ill of him. Nobody was arrested for his car having an accident with his car and the autopsy said he died of diarrhoea. His mistake was that he was too kind and gentle that he should have remain a church elder and lecturer instead of being a politician

Only 10%, the rest goes to admin and teacher's salaries.
What do you get after majority of students graduate from universities. Nothing. Youth unemployment is more than 40%. The Ghana Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship Development Agency (GYEEDA)that was set up to help the youth find employment is marred with corruption at all levels. Can you believe the head of GYEEDA who is appoionted to oversee this program can't even work on financial statements. How do you expect such a person to financially run such a program. It is time for the youth to wake up! the youth need to start organize and demand their rights from this old guard. Ghana Youth are too slow and are simply accepting the status quo. The youth should participate in politics and not accept the NDC, NPP, CPP etc Youth Wing. You need a different political platforms to voice your concerns.

I am still struggling to come to terms on why the former president was insulted and even pronoused dead when he was still alive. What at all do some people want on this planet, is it money or power? The question every like-minded Ghanaian should be asking is why is it that over 80% of tertiary graduates every year want to go into politics or work in the public sector? Politicians always claim they are not corrupt but will never explain why the mass exodus of tertiary graduates into politics. Some people are expressing fears that a civil war is apparent but failed to mention why that is emminent. The answer is simple! The reason for a possible civil war is unemployment. I don’t think that if people were gainfully employed and busily working would ever want to leave their jobs and go onto the streets to fight other people. I am not a prophet of doom, but i tell you that a time is coming when the youth will start beating and seizing cars of other people who made it through politics.
