Hahahaha..., Afari Djan on the ropes !
Dr. Afari Djan, the self-acclaimed god of elections, currently finds himself between a rock and a hard place.
The noose around his neck is getting tighter and tighter with ever lie that spews out of the mouth of the Tilapia fish-farmer.
The chief returning officer of elections in Ghana is today claiming never to have heard what 'pdf'(portable document format)means.
Lucky for Afari Djan, the NPP will teach him what pdf is all about today for free.
We shall make every NDC foolsoldier see the gargantuan stealing prowess of Afari Djan.

Shelve your ignorance, tax is paid on profits so cannot be passed on to parents. it will be levied on all incomes including school fees less all expenses. So if it results in a loss then there will be no tax. if it turns out to be a profit tax will be levied. Since government cannot provide schools it makes sence that private initiative must be supported. So schools can be given a tax free period of say 5 years to enable them reinvest the profits. This should however not apply to schools already in existence beyond the 5 year period .On the other hand government must be seen to be provisiding social services and not simply increasing costs through single spine, judgement debts , v8 for ministers , simple stealing so the populace can willingly pay taxes. That is the simple difference between us and the whites, their governments serve them so paying tax is seen as a social responsibility whilst in Africa we serve our governments and taxes mainly go to boost their life styles!!!

Some Ghanaians are happy just sowing a seed of discontent amongst our people. We need a whistle blower hotline that will investigate corruption in the system. All these fan-fool supporters don't understand that we are in-debting our country and our children and grandchildren will be paying all the monies we borrowed from foreign countries and businesses. These monies become their 10% cases and by the time the money gets to the project, nothing is left because our greedy politicians wants to live in Ghana but enjoy life like rich businessmen and women.

Workers pay tax and at the end of the month no one including pastors of the Churches that set up universities and charge fees do not go to ask if their wages sustain them to be able to produce the next day. Workers do not sell anything, thus do not make profit.
The churches from the colonial period have been charging school fees from pupil and students and must pay tax on the profit they make. Just as the pastors tell their members that it is a sin to refuse to pah tithe, so it is a sin when the church refuse to pay tax. Jesus said give what is to God to God and give what is for Caesar to Caesar. Prayers are for God and tax is for the state.

You are either a politician, a benefactor of a politian, an ignorant person or a simple fool. How many roads or schools can you point at which was funded with taxes. The funding is always one loan or aid or donor funding or the other. TAXES are used for single spine expansion for political reasons, stealing, judgement debts, V8 for ministers, prefunding of large size government, and all the negatives you can think about. USUALLY local borrowing in the form of treasurty bills are also used for the local chopping. My friend taxes we must pay but the government must also be a little responsible and caring and empatising with the poor masses!!!

The postmaster thought this was such a nice gesture from a young child and decided to send this letter on to President Mahama. President Mahama was so touched by the little boy’s sincerity that he told his secretary to send the boy 5 cedis.
Upon receiving the money, the boy wrote the following thank you letter:
“ Dear God – Thank you for the money. Next time please send it to me directly. I noticed you sent it through Accra Jubilee House. and of course, they deducted 95 Cedis for taxes. Love, Kwabena”

Well said, but Mr Spio-Garbrah should have better accounted to Ghanaians how much did the country gain from all these Tax Holiday freebees given to commercial operations in Ghana. They eventually change company names, ownership, expatriate profits, sponsor irrelevant programmes (excuse me I didn't say political parties), etc only at the demise of Ghanaians. I do not see much sense in moaning about paying tax when one makes profits if not the intention was to deny Caesar what he is entitled to. Look, nothing is paid if they loss insn't it?
Listen to me, if they are not going to pay mandatory taxes from day one, then government should regularise by prioritising where a certain percentage of that chunk of profits gains must be invested in those particular unis/colleges for the benefit of all Ghanaians other than letting it evaporates into personal pockets. Mr Spio-Garbrah must not worry too much about his investment returns in those unis/colleges, he will still be paid 'mighty' dividends hahahahahha.....time for Caesar to crackdown on scandulous cheating in the private ownership in the education system is beaconing.

HOW WERE THESE PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES REGISTERED,FOR NON PROFIT OR FOR PROFIT IN GHANA.
IN GHANA,THERE ARE STILL LOOP HOLES AT THE EDUCATIONAL SECTOR,AND THIS HAS GIVEN ADVANTAGE TO PEOPLE TO CHEAT AND TO MANIPULATE THE WEAK SYSTEM TO AMASS ILLEGAL WEALTH.
WERE THESE UNIVERSTIES ESTABLISHED TO PRODUCE INNOVATIVE PRECISION GRADUATES TO ACCELERATE ECONOMIC GROWTH, OR JUST TO PRODUCE MEN AND WOMEN AS UNEMPLOYED FOR THE LABOUR MARKET AND FOR NON-PRODUCTIVE WORK IN THE COUNTRY.
IT WILL NOT BE LONG, WHEN SOMBODY WILL COME WITH THE IDEA TO ESTABLISH ENTRPRENEURSHIP UNIVERSITY FOR MAKOLA WOMEN AND STREET VENDORS TO ACHIEVE HIS GREEDY AIMS IN THE COUNTRY.
PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE PROFIT. THESE UNIVERSITIES SHOULD BE NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS.
THE EMPLOYEES EARN A SALARY,AND THERE SHOULD BE NO SHAREOLDERS THAT HAVE TO GET PAID DIVIDENDS FOR A PROFIT BUSINESS.
IF A PRIVATE UNIVERSITY RUNS AT A SURPLUS, THE MONEY HAS TO BE PUT IN AN ''ENDOWMENT'' FUND AND INVESTED OR HOLD ON AS TO IT AS CASH FOR USE IN FUTURE YEARS IN CASE OF A DEFICIT OR TOO FUND OTHER PROJECTS.
EVEN THE TERM PROFIT SHOULDN'T BE USED BECAUSE THEY ARE NON -PROFIT ENTITIES.
DO THES PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES IN GHANA HAVE ''ENDOWMENT FUND''.
lADTLY, IF THESE UNIVERSITIES WERE ONLY ESTABLISHED IN DISGUISE TO FOOL THE GOVERNMENT, THEN,IT IS TIME FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO RECOVER ALL TAX ARREARS OWED TO THE STATE.
AS I HAVE ALWYS SAID, WE DO STIL HAVE MANY ROCKY ROADS BEFORE US.
