If there were contracts, then surely these must have records and these must be kept somewhere. Everyone who has dealing with GYEEDA must be held to account in a transparent and fair way and those found wanting, sanctioned accordingly.
You know, Ghana does not need a military dictatorship to ensure discipline in public office. Our rule of law must be seen to work and parliamentary scrutiny must be above board and fit for purpose.

What I can tell from my knowledge of the system is that there wasn't that much money for the NYEP at the time. Recall, 30% of the Communication Service Tax was allocated to support the NYEP which was living on a shoe string budget. What hurts me in some of the things happening is my personal knowledge of some of the people involved. For example, my first interaction with Abuga Pele was when he was a Board Member of the Kassena Nankana Rural Bank at Paga in 1986. Considering his humility then and the current behaviour having been exposed to politics and big time life, it gets really disheartening. Its like some of us who have sacrificed so much for the country are fools. Anyway, God compensates us the foolish ones to be able to continue to sustain our families.

Like you, I am personally disappointed that Abuga Pele should be associated with any form of corruption and poor leadership. Having said that, you seem to know him very well and from what you are saying, clearly something has changed in him because of politics and position.
My simple philosophy is that no one should be above the law and everyone must be held accountable for their stewardship. It is my view that all those who have failed in this task be brought before the law and punished as appropriate. What we need in Ghana are leaders of integrity and consistency.
You know, credibility is built over time and people's place in society and history is not measured by short-term quick gains, and as custodians, politicians must always remember that no condition is permanent. Effective leadership is therefore a necessary ingredient to uphold your name.
