Chronicling the events that unfolded during his incarceration, Ken Kuranchie has expressed doubt about the civilization of the country. He said: "we have no right to call ourselves civilized people.”. In his view, Ken Kuranchie, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight, explained his 10-day prison experience after being declared contemptuous of court following a publication in his newspaper, said: "Ghanaians have no right to call themselves “civilized people” end of quote.

Seriously Sekou is increasingly becoming frustrated since he was given the boot by the late president. I for one see this to be a sort of vendetta on his part against the late president. I have followed Sekou's personal attack on the persona of the late president after he kicked him out of office. Genuinely, no sane person would heap praises on another who has 'wronged' him in a way. Sekou is not being objective in his criticism of the late president, he appears to be on a personal mission to do discredit everything linked with the late president.
Sekou should come out clear and tell us if the late president did nothing that Ghanaians should celebrate him as we are doing now.
I personally think that the media in Ghana especially Asempa Fm should stop using Sekou to dent the hard won image of people. Whatever Sekou says is from this particular station.
Sekou is new to Ghanaian politics and I don't think attacking the persona of others will do him good and win Ghanaians over to him, he should learn from his elderly siblings.

In all sincerity, we can say that Sekou Nkrumah isn't being fair in his comments whenever he talks about the late president. I don't intend to say that He shouldn't criticize when the need be. He can in his wildest dreams even when all others think otherwise. He should be objective and give credit where it is due. His continuous criticism of the late president pushes one to think that he is doing this out of pain. There was no way he was going to praise his former boss for kicking him out of office.
Sekou Nkrumah would help all of us if he would make comments devoid of attacking the persona of the late president. If he wants to sound learned in his comments he shouldn't be committing himself fallaciously. He has some nice arguments, he should come again this devoid of personal attacks.

Kwame Nkrumah is "worshiped and idolized" today because all those who came after him have done little or nothing in comparison.That comparison is skewed,though because Kwame Nkrumah started with a lot of resources but by the time he was booted out he had wasted our resources solely in building white elephant projects e.g created factories whose existence violated the basic economic principle of comparative advantage, created government owned corporations,chased African Unity whilst other African leaders he needed had no intentions of surrendering their sovereignties to create a nucleic union,designed templates that are in use today in looting our resources,ran the country like his personal property et al.These are no laudable visions.If Nkrumah's vision was centered around the recognition that Ghana has a very good arable land,he could have fashioned his initial development around a large scaled commercial agricultural plan,NOT RUN BY THE GOVERNMENT,but by private farmers to create our national wealth to fund the building of national drainage and sewerage systems,invest in our mining undertakings,broadened education and health facilities and systematically embarked on a well planned infrastructural system to connect our small nation for commerce and easy mobility.Instead his so called vision could be duped as putting-the-cart-before-the-horse development.A haphazard approach to running a developing country so as to accomplish everything within his lifetime.His managerial style made him step on huge toes and that brought his downfall and unfortunately took our dear country along with him.So Sekou I don't wanna to hear any talk of visions,ok! Our nation is yet to have a true leader with a sustainable vision that'll stand the test of time.

Its ridiculous, which role is Sekou Nkrumah playing in Ghana politics. Why is he criticising a dead man left alone a Former president on his first anniversary since death. No man is indispensable including him sekou and in Ghana we have a culture and tradition where we mourn a dead person regardless of whether he was good or bad. I don't think the timing for this cruel criticism was right. The whole country at this juncture is in state of instability including an ongoing petitions which the supreme court is dealing with at the moment without anyone knowing for sure what the outcome may be. We all hoping that whatever the outcome of the result both parties ll accept and move Ghana on in dealing with the most important priorities rather than this destructive criticisms. Vast majority of Ghanaians today are including me are not interested in dead news or who did good and who did bad but we want the country to move on and if a government is not doing what is necessary for the country it will be determine by the people of Ghana as they see fit by a collective minds and not a single person who only wants to analyse faults of past leaders which amounts to bigotry of low expectations. The people of Ganana wants to move on period so if mr sekou Nkrumah wants wants to see Ghana moving forward he should stop coming out with all those criticisms and look for a solution to Ghana,s problems.
