If you have nothing to say shut up.
Why should the government pay for this though? Just like other people, families foot these bills if they choose to organize one. So I don't see the peeve here. Are they expecting the government to pay the cost???

This is a pure lie. Gvt should tell the truth which is that it's 2 million dollars and the matter will end other than this nonsense!. bcs am sure this figure could be a clerical error or commission error.
how can ghc200 be used to celebrate a one year anniversary of a prominent person like Atta Mills, i think he deserves beter.
You accepted the peanuts, cheap people, so shut up. No respect for yourselves
HOW CAN THIS BE TRUE?
so the family wants to create the impression that without the government they are helpless and pesewaless? please family members honour your man.
I bet some noughts may be missing from that figure. GHC200.00 for such a prominent event is too true to be true! Canopies and chairs alone can consume the amount. Don't you people think that they inadvertently left out a coup ...

Let's get things Straight, is the family of late president Mills organizing a different one year memorial from the National Planning commitee's memorial?
AM NOT SURE GOVERNMENT WILL GIVE THAT LOW AMOUNT. MAY BE THEY DONT WANT TO DISCLOSE THE FULL AMOUNT.
The state did what was needed at the time it was necessary. One year anniversary is optional extra, so if the family decided to do it the taxpayer must not be burdened with extra debt.
The government should not set a bad example. We have been campaigning about excesses during such occasions. If there is money,it should be spent on the living and not the dead. The family can go in for a loan.
If this is the way government want us to believe there is no money, they should have rather given GH¢ 1 to the family for the funeral.
NOW WE GET IT, GHANA IS BROKE. NO MONEY .
That is too much money for a gbonyo party.gov should get 150 cedis back from the family 50 cedis is enough for the gbonyo praty.
I know people are crying for the GYEEDA report to be made public. Part of the propaganda is to let us believe the report stinks and its recommendations may not be implemented. I think the real fear is that the report ONLY unc ...
