How can Betty Mould not have foreseen the Woyome Scandal and millions in judgment debts that she approved of herself thru the back door....but today she wants to point the finger.

As for as I am concerned, she should be prosecuted, if anything at all, for her 'well orchestrated' criminal negligence that has caused GHANA so much money.

It is almost a month now that the High Court judge ordered that the monies that you and your fellow NDC stealers "created, looted and shared" must be refunded, but you stealers have not yet done so, and rather decided to put taxes on condoms,cutlasses,hoes,matches,Outboard motors and all that the poor masses of the country depend on to survive in your 'bitter Ghana'.

Instead, in my estimation it is to upheld them to the importance of their position. Constant vilification of Public Officials strengthen the people’s faith in the political system. Making corrupt official towed the line through vilification is the only method at disposal of we the people.

After all, Mill who was a season politician knew it forehand before his presidency. Therefore, to be bitter about these, confirms that he was not ready for the job which exhibit his dismal performance during his tenure.

With NO VICE WHATSOEVER on my mind, I dare say that late President Mills should not have ventured into political leadership at all, with the emotional status as Mrs Iddrisu has revealed here.

Don't we all remember JJ's 'wo su koraa no na me ye more', to wit ' the more you cry the more i do it', or something similar to that. That was when half of Ghana was criticizing him on almost everything he was doing as a President?

And what about Kuffour's, Wa'hu nsuohyee a efa nipa da?' to wit, 'have you seen somebody drowning in hot water before?. And that was when he was under criticism by DR.Tony Aidoo etc. for being too quiet and slow. Dr Aidoo even called him 'Mumu', i.e a dumb fellow.

Furthermore, what about President JM? 'Me ma wo dum sor oo; Y-a-a Mahama'. And he confesses that he has sleepless nights over this and, of course, the myriad other challenges his government is facing. Yet he says all is in order. I guess that is bold leadership.

Presidencies ( and political leaderships)are not for the faint-hearted, and people should weigh themselves very well before making a move towards it.

He knew he would be criticized and went ahead for elections. So he wasn't man, then? Everyone gets criticized sometimes in his life and a president ought to stand to it.

Rawlings used these spies to eavesdrop on Mills' conversations with these people in his office. Folks would remember when Nation Security broke into the room where Nana Akufo-Addo and the Belgian foreing minister where holding a meeting? This what Rawlings was doing; he planted Gbevlo Lartey there just so he may have the chance to know what's going on anywhere anytime.

In the initial stages of Atta-Mills' presidency, Rawlings tried to bug him wwith unnecessary calls until the man became fed up. That was when Rawlings started lambasting Mills everywhere, calling all sorts of names. Mills wasn't a politician; he was a teacher and a professor who ought to have remainded in the classroom. His performance was way below Kuffour's levels of governance. And that was as clear as day. Yet the NDC would find ways to lie to Ghanaians, esp. about his health, until the inevitable happened!

When things aren't going well for Ghanaians and the economy is declining, people have the right to shout! When people started complaining about the economic situation which was getting out of hand, complaints started flying everywhere, Mills became emmotional. He caused pain for himself.

Dr. Sekou Nkrumah has indicated that inasmuch as Ghanaians will eulogize late President Atta Mills, his negative traits must as well be highlighted.

Shedding light on his weaknesses, Sekou described former President Mills as a man of “double standard” since his days as a lecturer at the University of Ghana to his era as the president.

Dwelling on his three-and-half-years presidency, he faulted president Mills for failing to rein in foulmouthed appointees in his government and party – National Democratic Congress.

He recalled that the late president went about preaching peace and deploring foul language and corruption, but his own officials indulged in the same things he spoke against.

He said for President Mills to sit down and act as though he appalled misdemeanor while he supervised over officials who wallowed in the same behaviour exposed “the element of naivety and hypocrisy” in Prof. Mills.

“Are you somebody who is thinking OK, let them do this chopping (dissipating resources) and so on, but in the interest of the party, [because] that is how we finance the party. Or was it that you just want to close your eye and pretend these things don’t exist, but they exist?”

Speaking on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen on Tuesday, he also described Mills as a president without vision and lacked dynamism.

“As a leader, if you want to leave a legacy you must have a vision. What is it that you can tell me it is Professor Mills’ vision? Forget about manifestos …can you point one concrete achievement of Prof. Mills as the president of this country? That is where my problem is, and I think that is a big weakness in Prof. We need the kind of leadership that has a vision to move and do things differently, and Prof. did not have that.”

Ironically, Prof. Mills was “a perfect vice president” under former President Jerry John Rawlings, he claimed.

Moreover, Sekou Nkrumah saw Prof. Mills as friendly and a fine gentleman – professionally and academically - which “nobody can dispute that”.

Also, he recalled that under his leadership, Prof. Mills “brought level headedness” into the NDC which caused many to join the party.

Former President Mills died on July 24, 2012 in the afternoon, three days after celebrating his 68th birthday.
