Exactly Agbenu. They don't want to disclose his autopsy because to do so will expose the lies Mills and his handlers told the nation about the conditions of his health. They played down and swerved the nation by attributing different reasons or causes to his deteriorating health when we demanded to know his health conditions prior to his death.

So to say, Atta Mess was a deceitful president. Like Rawlings said, if he had been wiser, and let me add, honest about his health, an understanding nation will have excused him to seek a long term leave of absence to take care of himself anywhere in the world.

He rather feared he would have been asked to resign or step down. And so what, wouldn't that have been a better option than this "messianic" attitude that he had to be on the job by all means to save Ghana from itself? On the contrary, Ghana did not die, he Mills did. One cannot behave as if he is some sort of Hercules carrying the whole world on his shoulders. Even Jesus died, okay. Move on.

Somewhere in this forum and on Ghanaweb, Atta Mess handlers and supporters are dwelling on one thing: "That President Mills was pained by the constant vilification he received from both within and outside his party". Ato Dadzie, John Newman, Ato Ahwoi and Ugly Ano Boot Betty Mould-Iddrisu are among those harping on this "vilification" and "pain" cliché. So one would want to ask, why will he ignore his own health needs as cancer raced to claim his life, and pander around lies about his health? Could it be he tried to stay on or was brow beaten to stay on by the corrupt elements within his inner circles to provide cover for corruption and the people engaged in it in his government? Atta Mess sacked honest ministers like Amidu to protect Ugly Betty Mould and Ebo Barton Oduro. His whole presidency and "Asomdwehene" nonsense was a facade. He put con in Congress. Projecting meekness whilst turning a blind eye on corruption from within his party is not worthy of praise. The corrupt elements he tried to provide cover for are all here while he is gone. Not cool.

He was being sustained by steroids and they needed to change that because his situation had worsened. But, as usual, his “blood sucking” handlers said no. They didn't want to risk him filing his nomination and dying. If he had to die then he had to die now.

"A former appointee of the Mills-Mahama administration who served as a deputy Chief of Staff made it emphatically clear that President Mills died at the Castle, Osu and nowhere else (not at the 37 Military Hospital) as some propagandists may want Ghanaians to believe.

Alex Segbefia confirmed on Citi FM’s “Big Issues” Saturday that he got to hear of Mills’ death 2 minutes after it happened whilst he was working at the castle, adding that “President Mills died at the Castle.”

On that fateful day, July 24, 2012 President Mils was handed an oil contract to sign by his secretary. The previous night, however, President Mills complained of severe pains and only had access to his doctors at 10am on the day he passed away.

After receiving the documents, President Mills, who was showing signs of weakness, became agitated and declined to look at the documents. He signalled his secretary, in anger, to take the documents away because he was not well. As the woman turned round, President Mills fell on the floor, bleeding through his nose."

You really need somebody to teach you the rudiments of English grammar. There is nothing to correct. Prosecuted is the right word as the first verb used in your sentence after after you used DID was SEE. The subsequent verb can be past tense and PROSECUTED is the right word not PROSECUTE.

It is very interesting the statement coming from Segbefia. This is a first in Ghana, a sitting President dying in state and his own gov't doesn't want to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death is very interesting, very, very interesting. From snippets of information coming through, it has been said that the circumstances surrounding his death are anything but mischievous and it is important as a country, to institute investigations into such an occurrence with the view to prevent it's future occurrence, when it is being alleged that, there were unseen hands who were complicit in his demise, and statements have been made to support some of these assertions from the gov't's own camp. It's important for the security of the nation that, at all times a situation is not created where it would become easy for an ailing President to be done in, if the story is true just for political expediency. Our laws should reflect changes to take care of such situations if they don't exist and ensure that, our Presidents serve their full term and also live thereafter, for the upcoming ones to tap into their experiences and knowledge whilst in office.
What does the NDC gov't have to hide? The insistence of Tony Aidoo that any such inquest would mean that, Ghanaians are "necrophilic" is to say the least, troubling if not extremely disturbing. The contested President needs to address this issue since he's a direct beneficiary of this infamy, and put to rest all speculations regarding this unfortunate incident, a first in Ghana. It would also lead to the establishment of measures, procedures, and processes to forestall any such future occurrence and it is in the interest of his own credibility and goes to the root of the perceived guilt of the NDC gov't of which he has been the direct beneficiary. The inquest, investigation, autopsy and inquiry into the demise of the late Atta Mills - Ex President is long overdue. Ghana is demanding answers.

Its interesting reading statements like this from Alex Segbefia. My dear Alex, the dirty linens of the NDC have already been hanged out there to dry. The very things you and your cronies are afraid the public will know is already out there. Kindly be bold enough to tell the public how you people hid behind illness and planned the death of the ailing professor, got the involvement of the family unknowingly and how you Alex, single handedly spiced it up, i mean the final touch. Ghanaians would like to know whether you were in Kokus camp or the other camp because, one camp wanted the old man to be left alone even though there were clear indications that he could not go out there to campaign. The other camp also wanted him out early so there could be time to campaign and maintain power. The Bible tells us that, those who draw or live by the sword, die by the sword. Alex, if i were you, i would have been asking for forgiveness of sin for being a traitor, ungrateful and blood shed. The reign of darkness ends when there is light.
I would also advice that you tell the president and your cohorts to stop making mockery of Yahweh. When you find your way to power through corrupt , deceitful and dubious means, dont say that it has been ordained by God. This is pure hypocrisy, if i may borrow Sammy Awukus words.
The calamities in the country and all that accompany it are as a result of your evil deeds. Do not blame anybody, not even arsonists. God is waiting to forgive all of you that is the reason why one year on, none of you and your conspirators are gone. Tell Mr. President that, visiting Bole, at a particular moment monthly will do him no good. Forgiveness of sin is all you need. If the ailing professor did not trust you as his vice- which is public knowledge already- it did not mean that show him the exit by elimination. The earlier you admit and ask for forgiveness the better.
