Popular Ghana-based actress Emelia Brobbey has been arrested for stealing a piece of bracelet jewelry while shopping during her vacation in London.

According to information from reliable sources, the talented actress who is unaware of the security camera at the store allegedly stole a bracelet.

As she was exiting the store, a beep alerted the people around her.

We learnt the guys on the security camera who have been monitoring her movements came out to ensure her arrest.

Police officials were called in and she was asked to provide her address.

The actress gave the officers the address of her host, fellow actress Gloria Agyeman.

Police immediately raided the home of the ‘thief’ actress’s host, Gloria.

The raid led to the arrest of another actress Eunice Akua Adjeiwaa who had overstayed in the United Kingdom.

She was immediately arrested. Eunice is set to be deported back to Ghana.

Emelia Brobbey who caused the whole mess is set to leave London today after she was given an immediate departure order from the UK.

Any African leader or political party that attempts to eliminate corruption, will be killed along with thousands of innocent citizens, by Capitalism's armed forces NATO + internal traitors.

Before criticizing politicians one must ask one's self, if one is prepared to pay the ultimate price for change, if not, one should shut up!

Corruption is a cancer that is being constantly injected into African society through existing colonial institutions, sometimes the more religious a person pretends to be, the more corrupt they can be, religious business people rob their foreign customers daily, by charging them a higher price for the same items than they charge Ghanaians, these same people see nothing wrong with supporting leaders who are woefully corrupt.

These naïve farmers will be enticed with low grade pieces of cloths and either a sewing machine or bicycle according to your gender to win their votes under the pretext of promoting the vocation and lifestyle. Meanwhile these people never even knew how to read a manual of the machines or operate them. Unfortunately these people, swollen headed about their so-called gifts will return to the village and chant "hyina na ompe se oburoni bewo no ba". These same people after a few days will be seen selling the items to defray their debts, and as if it is not enough, they will be going to other people asking for basic needs like salt and pepper to season the food. Hold it! Let's be Ghanaians for once! Yes the presidency is, "The biggest corruption unit among all state institutions as far as giving tax exemptions to cronies and companies is concerned." It also happened under Kuffour viz "Presidential Initiatives" and a host of others. The problem lies in the extraordinary powers the Constitution gives the Presidency. "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely," thus goes the old adage. In a situation where the Legislature, which is expected to act as a check to presidential excesses, is in cahoots with the Executive in giving meaning to, "Chop make I chop," what do you expect?

The core issue is that the 4th Republic is a complete failure. The politicians are the least patriotic, least educated, most greedy and the most corrupt in the annals of the nation's history. The financial malfeasance that has occurred during this Republic so far dwarfs the total under all the military regimes we vilify. Military regimes have proved so far to be more cost effective. The politicians feed the public with that "Freedom of Speech" nonsense while they enrich themselves and further impoverish the rest.

I can't wait to see the day when all these corrupt 4th Republic politicians will have their stomachs ripped opened, their severed penises and pussies shoved into their mouths (for wrecking families) and finally despatched to meet their maker by the enraged masses. Ghana will then have honest, hardworking, and patriotic politicians thereafter. Amen!

You miss the point. The fact that the NDC is corrupt doesn't mean it's because it was founded by a certain poor person. NPP was founded by "enlightened" persons but truth be told, it also introduced corruption on the scale that we see now including the saga of "Judgement Debts." NDC under Rawlings wasn't a bunch of choir boys but corruption was limited to few: The party wasn't afraid to throw the "sacrifice-able" under the bus. It was rather Kuffour who opened the floodgates.

Ghanaians now realize the two main political parties are competing at besting each other on corruption. Unfortunately ordinary Ghanaians have been forced into the vicious cycle of poverty perpetrated and promoted by these same so-called political elite. They therefore succumb to the usual gifts of essential commodities these criminals give out during election periods and vote for these same criminals to enrich themselves and impoverish these unfortunate citizens further. Sad that some Ghanaians, because of their stupidity, are prepared to lay down their lives for these cowards and criminals.

Since the present politicians have shown their unwillingness to let the system work or to depart voluntarily, democracy as you envisage will not work. What is needed is a new breed of politicians who are honest, hardworking and patriotic. The slate must be wiped clean by any means necessary. A non-partisan civil disobedience may be a start but who'll bell the cat?

The level of naivety exhibited by the people around the corridors of power calls for federalism in Ghana so that every region will use their share of the national cake as they see fit. My region Ashanti needs international Airport but cos of sheer envyness, tribalism and politics, they are planning to build an airport in prampram while Ghana has 9 other regions without international airport.

Your intellectual diagnosis of the presidents office seems a bit slanted. If the truth were to be told, then we have to accept the fact that Kwame Nkrumah, Busia, Acheampong, Rawlings, Ankrah, Kuffuor, Mills, to present leadership are all equally as guilty as any governmental agency in diverting funds under some grandiose schemes or projects. Certainly this abuse of public funds, be it borrowed or not, should stop. In the final analysis, it is the average Ghanaian who has never had the opportunity to sit in a class room, who is subject to drinking polluted water from galamsey operations who suffers. The absence of check's and balances as well as accountability of usage of public funds, is really creating a huge opportunity for graft as we have seen from subsequent governments. So any type of intellectual analysis as Hayford is attempting to formulate is pure rubbish. Whereas, certain portions of truth exists in his hypothesis, fact remains that it is slightly tainted in favor of a certain political party. We The People have taken a non partisan stand and have rather relegated ourselves to a "Pro Ghana" attitude void of party affiliations. We simply want problems to be fixed and corrected as opposed to pointing fingers at institutions.
