Chronicling the events that unfolded during his incarceration, Ken Kuranchie has expressed doubt about the civilization of the country. He said: "we have no right to call ourselves civilized people.”. In his view, Ken Kuranchie, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight, explained his 10-day prison experience after being declared contemptuous of court following a publication in his newspaper, said: "Ghanaians have no right to call themselves “civilized people” end of quote.

Popular Ghana-based actress Emelia Brobbey has been arrested for stealing a piece of bracelet jewelry while shopping during her vacation in London.

According to information from reliable sources, the talented actress who is unaware of the security camera at the store allegedly stole a bracelet.

As she was exiting the store, a beep alerted the people around her.

We learnt the guys on the security camera who have been monitoring her movements came out to ensure her arrest.

Police officials were called in and she was asked to provide her address.

The actress gave the officers the address of her host, fellow actress Gloria Agyeman.

Police immediately raided the home of the ‘thief’ actress’s host, Gloria.

The raid led to the arrest of another actress Eunice Akua Adjeiwaa who had overstayed in the United Kingdom.

She was immediately arrested. Eunice is set to be deported back to Ghana.

in polling stations with duplicate printer (so called serial) numbers are unique and certified by unique polling agents. the issue of biometric verification; there was only
one verification for both presidential and parliamentary election. why are the losing parliamentary candidates not complaining? besides the ec says as far as the machine

printouts show, everybody voted with biometric verification. when these printouts were presented in court, the petitioners objected because they are not interested in the

truth. the fact that a presiding officer enters wrongly on the pink sheet does not end the matter; we can always check from the machines if the truth is relevant. then is

overvoting; we know how election 2012 was conducted. sorting, counting and declarations were made in public. people were asked not to go home after voting. if there was

overvoting, the public and polling agents will object strenuously. again a presiding officer entering wrongly in the accounting part of the pink sheet does not invalidate

votes which are allocated to candidates in the first part of the pink sheet. clerical errors are attendant on all large logistic operations. the "all-die-be-die", "win at all

cost", "yen akanfoo" tyrant should not seek to annul my vote because some presiding officer entered wrongly in the ballot accounting part of the pink sheet. he has gathered

Adofo, I do not think it helps your case or cause to be calling the President a thief while the case is yet to be decided.

You must be smart enough to acknowledge that the Petitioners could win the case not necessarily because the other side stole the votes but because there might have been too many genuine errors in endorsing the outcome of the Elections or counting the votes.

What if, on the other hand, the Respondents win the case? Would you concede the defeat and call the Petitioners 'failed thieves'?

You seem to have arrogated to yourself a certain self-delusive power of untouchability with which you so flagrantly insult and accuse others wildly without any reasonable evidence. We all speculate about others and issues. But to claim stuff with the level of certainty as you do could get you into trouble. Even with the absence of the libel laws, one could still be held accountable for lies that hurt people.

Furthermore, as you keep doing this, you give your opponents the justification to attack your political masters and idol like Akufo-Addo similarly.

I am no fan of Nana but I would never call him derogatory names or insult his person because of that. And I have strongly denounced those linking him to illegal substances without substantive proof. We must all learn to be decorous, since it is not the insults and unsubstantiated charges that would win contestants the case at the SC.

We are all fallible. Even you. Yet, we could still have what it morally takes to contribute to the Nation's growth. What we may lack to not being able to deliver is competence. And that is what we need to focus on.
