I think every Ghanaian is right to ask govt to be accountable to them. In the sense that, the core of democracy is not just about electing a govt to rule over the masses, however, it's about responsible, accountable, credible, trustworthy, etc leadership who can protect the right of the people and the borders of the land.
Asking govt to release a document about corruption is a right of Ghanaians and never in any case be construed as privilege by govt especially where the publication of such document by no means threatens national security and safety of all Ghanaians.
More so, govt must not dither to punish any culprable acts in the report to the extent of making swift and decisive changes in policies if they emanate as necessity to do so. For these reasons, all state authorities (including the executive, parliament and judiciary) who carry the responsibilities but fail to ensure the required laws are enforced to deal with a case like GYEEDA must fall foul of the law as the constitution of Ghana demands. At any rate, these issues affect all Ghanaians no matter their political affiliations. God bless Ghana.
