Somebody, if he does not know should let him know that Ghana is not a Federal State for him to think Accra belongs to him and like Kwesi Pratt said he should stop calling himself a Mayor which our constitution does not recognize and the media should also ceased calling him as such.

This man has no respect for authority to know that we have a president in the country who should be taking those decisions.

That is what they did during Mills era and some of them don't seem to have learnt any lessons. When the Ga chiefs apparently requested that his appointment should not be confirmed he should have stood down. I hope we are all learning. Ee should not be too confortable in our current positions

The stadium is a national asset, not for AMA,s property. We believe AMA has gone beyond its boundary by the name change.We must do the right thing for the illustrious son of the land, Ohene Gyan.

We are too harsh with Mr Vanderpuiye. we shouldn't show our personal hatred against the man. It's better someone who was educated in USA be a Mayor than the person who never went anywhere and does not know anything beyond the nearest mountain. Give him his chance and just define him a clear mandate. He is not a fool. To rename a stadium can't cost someone his post, aabah!

So, clergy stop burying your Sakawa heads (I don't mean Presby, Roman and other respectable churches) in sand and collecting stolen monies as tithes.

This man was a problem for the late Professor Mills and continues to be to the NDC as a party. When the late Professor was preaching and trying to fulfill his “I care for you promise”, then he was fighting the poor Hawkers on the street. These hawkers have been to the street because majority of them have been affected by the then Dr. Kwesi Botchwey PAMSCAD Programs which he failed to compensate them adequately to enable them resettle fully. Others too have suffered from the Kotoko /Asec encounter and compensation to the victims landed in Dr.Obed Asamoah’s bedroom. From Salifu Amankwah to Agyeri Bla nkson,all attempt have been futile because they need alternative livelihood which the Government has not been able to offer.
The former President Kuffour in his wisdom devised a system that moved them from one scene to the other and instead of improving upon it he failed to learn from the past and applied force. Most of them lost their capital and we are back to square one because the reality is about survival. The then Regional Minister did all that he could and this man had his way and was backed by the "man of peace".
Former President Rawlings could lead people to clean the gutters and this man is there and Accra is now littered with rubbish and all that he does is to rename State Properties including private ones.
What even breaks the camel's back is the deliberate creation of unemployment by his actions. Market was engulfed in fire and whilst those who have lost their properties are grieving over it he went to the extent of bulldozing those that are not affected and pronounced his readiness to give the land to Chinese Investors. Does the land belong to him as a MCE or the Chiefs? Any party that comes to power should investigate and prosecute him.
Former President Rawlings would now bow his head in shame that after killing some Ghanaians over corruption, he supervised the sale of most of the properties left by the late Dr.Nkrumah and issued white paper to cover some of his Ministers who were found wanting including Rtd.Col.Osei Owusu whilst his descendants auctioned State cars at unreasonable prices to themselves courtesy the late Victor Smith and Carl Wilson and recently Woyome Saga as well as the Akonfem Projects.
The late President Mills and President Mahama have reversed the gains of Former President Kuffour not to mention his social intervention that saw the gradual improvement of school enrollment due to the school feeding program, National Health Insurance Scheme, Transit Bus System and what have you. Is this the Social Democratic Party? Ghanaians should not be surprised that despite the oil discovery we may go back to join the Highly Indebted Countries. Talk of the STX deal and pothole filling that has now become monthly expenditure that runs into serious wastage of fund in the name of youth employment scheme.
You have lost track of the probity and accountability concept and are now embarrassment to the Founder. He should humbly resign.Where is KOFI WAYO?
