Secondly, your statement makes a mockery not only of the govt but also the people of this country. Coming in a period of our history where everything has been reduced to a joke, it does little to give relief the pains under which we live. If locally our Police Service has been regarded as the most corrupt institution for a few years running, how can it possibly be one of the best in the world?

What worries me is that when I look at some of the more elderly men in your service and I ponder that they too have children and wives at home, I feel a lot of shame for them for being members of an institution that nobody respects. I wouldnt encourage any friend or relation of mine to be a member of the Ghana Police Service for those specific reasons.

I however admit that since you were appointed as the new IGP, there have been some noticeable improvements both in the operations and the image of the Police Service but I am afraid that is only about 15% of what is really required to turn things around for the better for the Ghana Police Service and for Ghana.Congratulations for trying to do something about a very bad situation. But please dont exaggerate your achievements.

In the first place which country outside of Africa is the shameless IGP comparing Ghana Police.
I don't blame him he is using one of the few bandied words and sentences Ghanaians like to use to describe their situation to indicate that they are also literate without necessarily understanding the meaning and import of those words.
Don't go far in the hinterland of Ghana, just go to the Korle-bu Police station which is supposed to be a flagship police station due to its location and see the environment and the facilities they have. Some people's kitchen is better than the conditions at the Korle-bu police station, as if these police administration don't function on budgets.
What is this cow or pig of an IGP oozing out? If they are not there yet (which I feel they haven't even started any journey yet) why is he trying to rob shoulders with the rest of the world? Shame to you IGP

In my opinion, Ghana police is among the best in the world. One can travel anywhere and anytime in Ghana and never have to worry about police brutality, false arrest and imprisonment, etc. if something is wrong with your vehicle, police will take few cedis and you are ok.

In so-called advanced countries both east and west, Police departments deliberately target African people for abuse, false arrest, illegal detention, brutal beatings and shootings etc. all because of their pathological racist mentality.

I am always disgusted by the brain washed self haters, who brag about the how lovely things are in their master's country, while deliberately turning a blind eye to their own reality and the racist oppression heaped on their people in those foreign countries.

I am currently in Ghana and I swear on my beloved mother's grave, I am happier in Ghana than I have ever been in my entire life, I feel extremely safe when I'm around Ghana police and yes, a resounding YES, given my experience of living most of my life outside of Africa, Ghana police is definitely among the world's best in the world.
