In this time that the country is in economic crisis, one area the government can cut expenditure is to furlough government workers to take at least 4-days off in every month without pay which of course would see a significant impact in the economy. They say charity begins at home, Mahama and his cabinet should set an example by giving back a percentage of their earnings back to the state and stop touting for tax here and tax there on the ordinary citizens. E&OE.
