  Please, take note of the following points about articles on ghanaweb (well known to long time contributors):
  
  1. These multi-part articles don't do well on ghanaweb. Most visitors to the site are busy people on the move and prefer short articles on single well-defined topics. You will do far better by distilling all your ideas on a topic in one article that the reader will consume at once and not have to come here for a continuation. Every topic can be handled that way. Reserve your long detailed academic type essays for other more academic oriented websites.
  
  2. It is advisable to choose short succinct TITLES. This is simply because the webmaster has a specific space to fit in the title and that space is not a huge one. What he does is to split a long title at a place that you, the writer, will probably not like. You can prevent that by making the title short yourself. This is important because most readers are attracted by the title and will steer clear away from a title that does not tell them much because it is incomplete (badly split by the webmaster). They will not click on the article to see the full title. They simply move on to another article.
  
  3. Observe too that the webmaster does NOT edit any article. He doesn't even read them beyond the title and author name. He posts the article as is. Any mistake, minor or substantial, you make will be posted exactly as you make them. That is why you, the writer, must read through your piece carefully (self-edit) before sending it to the webmaster. This is very important especially for you who like to write things like africa, ghana, ephraim amu without any known reasons.

  A young teenaged girl was a prostitute and, for obvious reasons, kept it a secret from her grandma. One day, the police raided a brothel and arrested a group of prostitutes, including the young girl. The prostitutes were instructed to line up in a straight line on the sidewalk. Well, who should be walking in the neighborhood, but little old Grandma. The young girl was frantic.
  Sure enough, Grandma noticed her young granddaughter and asked curiously, "What are you lining up for, dear?" Not willing to let grandma in on her little secret, the young girl told her that some people were passing out free oranges and that she was lining up for some.
  "Mmm, sounds lovely," said Grandma. "I think I'll have some myself," she continued as she made her way to the back of the line. A police officer made his way down the line, questioning all of the prostitutes. When he got to Grandma, at the end of the line, he was bewildered. "But you're so old... how do you do it?"
  Grandma replied, "Oh, it's quite easy, sonny... I just remove my dentures and suck em dry!"
