How many of them fighting for the position the last time Kronfuor Kufuor was about to exit?. I would humbly advise that for the good name of the party (Ghana & Rest of the World)and the progress of the party, people particularly - 'Minister of Salon'- Yaw Osarfo Maafo, would be a total disaster to the party because of his irresponsible and poor performance as Minister of Finance in the Kronfuor Kufuor regime. He has not till date accounted for the loan apparently supposed to be at a salon in London instead, of Bank of Ghana, Accra. Joe Ghartey was also a failure as Attorney General. There are many questions he still has to answer for some of the judgement debts. Isaac Osei has the calibre of a state minister but I doubt his ability to lead the Nation effectively without succumbing easily to the party's demand instead of that of the Nation. Bawumia needs more experience in politics. His under-par performance both at the election and in court cannot be overlooked. NPP may try to over-grade his performance but in court especially, you answer the questions and provide the evidence but not what you think should be or hanging unto your irrelevant view like a 'dog with a bone'. You the court is not interested in opinions qualifications or emotion/passion. It is the evidence,validity and the reliability of the facts that are important to the court. Oh, don't forget the court does not take kindly to arrogance, disrespect, lies or false claims or unsubstantiated statement. The court is not a political campaign ground for making wild and fabricated statements or claims just to the applause of the supporters. In my honest opinion non of the names by the Informer as potential/possible flag bearers are any challenge to Alan Kyeremanteng. NPP must be real and support him positively. Nana Akufo Addo is a definite NO. He now has no credibility to lead a party let alone a Nation like, Ghana. NPP must be constructive and must start the process to elect a flag bearer as soon as possible. Bearing in mind that Prez John Mahama can win an election within 40 days. He is a threat and his popularity and ability must not be underestimated or taken for granted whether NPP like it or not the evidence is clear. A word to a wise is wisdom.

The reality is that soon there will be an election. I am saying soon because in politics this 2 yr is really no time for an opposition party. NPP must put things in place as soon as possible and take the necessary steps even whilst waiting for the outcome of the court petition. Get your head properly screwed on and stop deceiving yourself by thinking that all would be well. Even if that was the case, there would be another election sometime anyway so you should instead start mobilising your sympathisers and getting your apparatus in place. The article may sound stupid to you but there some very relevant points made which, need careful thoughts and consideration for the advancement of the party.

This is one of the reasons I don't support Nana Addo.He could have simply followed the foot steps of Kuffour to beat any NDC candidate.Kuffour played a master game by bringing onboard the smaller parties onboard,which is very logic.If you delve into Busia/Danquah Tradition,you will see that Busia alone could not beat CPP,Danquah alone could not do it so they emerged 6 good political parties into one United Party,even that they could not beat Kwame Nkrumah.If you look at modern politics in Europe,you will see that it's very difficult for one party to carry the presidency.In 2008,it was the smaller parties who saved Prof.Mills in the run off.Yet in 2012,Nana Addo and Npp believed that they could win alone leaving NDC to form secret alliance with the smaller parties.Prof.Mills in his wisdom brought all the run away members onboard.I think unless Npp sit down and evaluates its strength and weakness then they will stay in opposition for a very long time.Thank you.
