Short Biography:
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

He graduated from the University of Ghana in 1967 with a B.Sc in Economics. Nana trained as a lawyer in England and was called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 1971 and the Ghanaian Bar in 1975.

Under President Kufuor, Nana served as the Attorney-General and Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was the flagbearer of the party in the 2008 elections and was again elected in 2010 to be the flagbearer of the party in the upcoming 2012 elections.

They have no solutions because they are too feeble minded and reality deep down they know its only by theft , trickery , election engineering /rigging , ideological lies and camouflage that they are there now and know it can not last . The national security is going round spreading the word they have the supreme court under control and have ensured the petition will not succeed , i guess they are able to blackmail the judges after all so there will be no justice . Murdered cutlass
The body of a woman believed to be in her late 20s was found at the Crop Research Institute junction at Fumesua in the Ejisu-Juaben municipality of the Ashanti Region in the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased was half-naked when her body was spotted at about 5:30am and suspiciously, her pelvic area and clitoris seemed to have been tampered with.

According to an eyewitness, the legs of the light-skinned victim were wide open when her body was discovered at the junction on the Kumasi-Accra main road.

The eyewitnesses told DAILY GUIDE that the deceased was lying in a pool of blood when some persons who were on a ‘keep fit’ exercise came across her body at the junction, which was close to the premises of the Building and Research Institute.

When the paper got to the scene at about 10:00 am, the remains had been taken away but the blood stains were still visible on the ground.

It was not clear whether the deceased’s assailants killed her at a different location and dumped her body at the junction.

A 46 year old woman, Bertha Osei resident at Atwima Bawko, a suburb of Kumasi was found dead on the roadside in the town with multiple of cutlass wounds.

Parts of the body including the nose and the tongue had been removed. Bertha, a petty trader sells fruits in the town where she has stayed for the past 10 years and married with five children.

The body of Bertha has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for autopsy while police continue with their investigations.

A source at the Regional Police CID told Radio Ghana/Garden City Radio that, the murder took place at dawn today when Bertha was believed to be walking to the roadside to board a vehicle to Kejetia to engage in her daily routine business.

The source said, Bertha was attacked by her assailants, killed and parts

Fear and panic hits KEEA over ritual murders
Residents, especially women, at Kissi and Beasease in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem (KEEA) Municipality of the central Region who were struck with what the police suspect to be ritual murder of three women, `have abandoned their farms for fear of suffering the same fate.

Reports say the murders of the three women occurred in a spate of twenty-four hours. Some body parts of the murdered women were taken away.

The terrified residents want adequate security and the apprehension of the perpetrators of these crimes.

Appealing to the Police for help, a woman in the municipality told Correspondent, Richard Kojo Nyarko, the women are planning to flee the town if they do not get assurances for protection.

Head of KEEA Municipal Security Council, Isaac Kweku Sam, told Joy News they are holding an emergency meeting on the issue to remove the panic that has hit the area.
