  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
  
  He graduated from the University of Ghana in 1967 with a B.Sc in Economics. Nana trained as a lawyer in England and was called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 1971 and the Ghanaian Bar in 1975.
  
  Under President Kufuor, Nana served as the Attorney-General and Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was the flagbearer of the party in the 2008 elections and was again elected in 2010 to be the flagbearer of the party in the upcoming 2012 elections.

  Emoluments for the president, ministers and deputies, etc and the appointment aids have swelled up the wage bills as our pays is for chop chop only and nothing else. Corruption the least said about it the better.

  any anything to go by, then Government implimentation of these pay increase should be reflected in all payslips of all civil servants in the Country.

  It is on record that Paa Kwesi Nduom who was very instrumental in the preparation and subsequent actualization of this policy had very profound words when the gov't started experiencing difficulties with the SSPP.
  And he said and I quote '' the issue is not with the policy ie the SSPP, but rather, it's implementation '', end of quote.
  Time and again, the issue has been raised that, the NDC administration led by the Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration lacks the mental capacity and the intelligence to address the issues and time and again, Ghanaians have been proven right. Aside of this obvious shortcoming which has triggered the retrogression and stagnation that has led to the arrest of our socio-economic development, the NDC party in gov't, led by John Mahama has demonstrated a very marked level of not being credible in the very least and current happenings across all the various sectors speaks to the facts on the ground. Ghana is doomed under this Mills-Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration which has demonstrated a very profound and highly legendary levels of gross ineptitude and crass incompetence.

  The SSSS (SSPS) has become the scapegoat for the government's wage bill increase. The truth (read TUC articles) is that the gov't also decided to increase the salaries of many workers who weren't on the SSSS. Do any of you remember that the ministers all got themselves a pay raise of over 30%.
  
  Now the gov't wants to say the people striking have no hearts after "their" SSSS has bankrupted the country. Instead of giving the top people pay increases, gov't should have rather increased minimum wage. They should reverse all increases that weren't SSSS first before trying to blame economic problems on people and programs.
