Whilst that of the politicians and article 71 office holders are back dated to 4 years. So for instance in his analysis, GHC60m times 4 years would be GHC240m. We should remember that the articles 71 officer are more than 500 as he is claiming.

How Kofi Coomson (Chronicle owner) was so right in his caution about Nana is too dangerous to be handed the leadership of this nation and that he cannot sleep with both eyes closed with Nana as President.
And did we not hear Pastor Otabil's warning from God that people who say "all-die-be-die" are bad company? And yet some people have disobeyed God and chosen to keep company with the architect of "all-die-be-die"? Nana will bring disaster to Ghana!!!

Hahaaaaa, Afari Djan on the ropes !
Dr. Afari Djan, the self-acclaimed god of elections, currently finds himself between a rock and a hard place.
The noose around his neck is getting tighter and tighter with ever lie that spews out of the mouth of the Tilapia fish-farmer.
The chief returning officer of elections in Ghana is today claiming never to have heard what 'pdf'(portable document format)means.
Lucky for Afari Djan, the NPP will teach him what pdf is all about today for free.
We shall make every NDC foolsoldier see the gargantuan stealing prowess of Afari Djan.

In real sense, Ghana under the NDC of contemporary government, led by Dramani Mahama has TWO Finance Ministers in the persons of Seth Terkper and Fifi Kwetey.
Clumsily, Mahama's pseudonymous re-designation of the office of Fifi Kwetey could not and will not conceal the functions of the latter as one of the Finance Minister.
Notwithstanding this position of two Finance Ministers (of one nation), the NDC is still incapable of prudently managing the economy.

This is what you get when you vote for idiots and fools. If Politicians who implemented this sick SSSS policy through the lenses of vote buying by trippling the salaries of workers without corresponding production or revenue enhancement, that result is the imbalance of budget and wrecking havoc in the economy.
SSSS was not planned to tripple the salaries of workers who ended up not benefitting greatly since their windfall were wittled down by increase in services product prices.
SSSS main plan was to streamline government pay structure amongst government workers with the same qualifications but Ndc saw this opportunity as a political win win situation by first migrating the security forces into SSSS by trippling their salaries that had Tsunami effect on all government workers.

GHANA IS VERY NATURALLY RICH, BUT IT DOES TAKE PRAGMATIC, HARDWORKING AND COMMONSENSE LEADERSHIP TO BUILD UP THE ECONOMY.
WHERE DO GHANA'S EXPORT REVENUES FROM GOLD, DIAMONDS, MANGANESE, TIMBER, BAUXITE, OIL, ELECTRICITY SUPPLY TO OTHER COUNTRIES,KILLER TAXES AND TARIFFS, AND MANY OTHERS GO TO?
INCREASING THE NUMBER OF MPs TO 275 WHEN THERE'S NO JOB WHATSOEVER FOR THEM TO DO CERTAINLY DOES NOT GROW THE ECONOMY.
INCREASING THE NUMBER OF MINISTERS, DEPUTY MINISTERS AND OTHER POLITICAL APPOINTEES WILL CERTAINLY NOT PROMOTE ECONOMIC GROWTH.
DON'T FORGET, ALL THESE APPOINTEES ARE TOTALLY REDUNDANT WITH NO PRACTICAL ECONOMIC PRODUCTIVITY WHATSOEVER, YET THEY ALL COLLECT FAT SALARIES, BRIBES, ALLOWANCES AND END OF SERVICE BENEFITS AT THE END OF EVERY FOUR YEARS.
CONSIDER GHANA TO BE A PRIVATE CORPORATION, WITH THE STATE INSTITUTIONS AS THE STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNITS. ALL WITH WAGE BILLS BUT NO PRODUCTIVITY WHATSOEVER. THE CORPORATION WILL COLLAPSE IN NO TIME.
THIS IS THE CASE WITH GHANA PLC!!
ADD THE ABOVE TO SINGLE SPINE SALARIES, AND DISASTER WILL BE STARING AT YOU RIGHT IN THE FACE.
THAT'S WHAT IS HAPPENING IN GHANA NOW.
GHANA IS ENDOWED WITH COUNTLESS NATURAL RESOURCES WITH A HUGE POTENTIAL FOR DIVERSIFIED NATIONAL REVENUES GENERATION, YET OUR LAZY VISIONLESS LEADERSHIP THINK OF ONLY IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES AND TARIFF REVENUES GENERATION TO SHORE UP THE ECONOMY.
THIS IS WHAT MAKES GHANA LEADERS ARE TERRIBLY USELESS.

Fifi Kwetey should stop his propaganda tinged analysis which doesn't do anybody any good and come out with the figures. He should come out with the specifics which can be independently verified and then Ghanaians can put this "huge wage bill" singsong in it's right perspective, because I can bet my last pesewa that, the incompetent and inept propagandist Fifi Kwetey does not deserve a single pesewa of the huge salary, huge emoluments, huge benefits, huge per diems, etc, etc, all of which goes into the wage bill and a host of other article 71 office holders. Ghana needs to know because the John Mahama led administration, whose credibility is at best worthless and not even fit for tender in any transaction, is creating a mountain out of a molehill and Ghanaians need the figures to do the maths. The looting and stealing alone by the Mills-Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration is 10X this wage bill business they are talking about, let alone mismanagement, inefficiencies, negligence, inept and downright incompetence in implementing the SSPP.

It is unfortunate that such a high government official with some responsibility in helping manage our financial resources can make such an arguement in public. I hope he knows that demand for wages is also influenced by what the public perceives as their fair share of the cake knowing what others who participate in the sharing of are getting. Thus if the labourer thinks that the MP or for that matter the minister is carting home GHc 10,000/month which he or she has not worked for, why will he not ask for an increase in his/her salary. We have a fair knowledge of the financial status of most MPs and government appointees before they take office and we see the drastic change in lifestyle while they are in office so why wont we complain that we also want more money? Are they more equal than us as Ghanaians? Get to the root cause of the problem, stop the leaks in the revenue stream of the country and if you can just shut up!

Also errors were committed resulting in persons taken salaries that were not due them in year 2012. An audit by a firm of chartered Accountants should be carried out to have these monies refunded to chest. Some unscrupulous controller staff might also have chopped small from the exercise.
For Government to have a handle on these matters, Government should ensure that the right persons are recruited into these sensitive jobs instead of patronage that is being used to bring in morons into the system, who have no idea about what the professions are all about.

You call a ministerial position as 'useless'? Envy will send you to your early grave.
There is a difference between a Minister and the one occupying the position. Whereas the position is honorable, the current occupants have reduced it to uselessness. That is the reason. It is not envy. Look at the trash comin ...
