Let us get along with each other. There are things where we can stand together -- opposition to homosexuality, etc. I hope that Muslims will be alert for any negative signs from visitors from northern Nigeria. If not, it could spread to Ghana also.

We should be proud of religious harmony in Ghana thanks to deliberate forward looking policies of government, the leading political parties and the clerics themselves. But no complacency. Some of my christian brethren sometimes due to ignorance of what Islam teaches fail to reach out to our muslim brethren and other religions. You can be a better christian by learning about the others. I for one have been better thanks to knowledge of Islam and other religions. We are all under the authority of GOD. And HE alone is the JUDGE!tHE REST IS PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE AND LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER, SUPPORTING EACH OTHER. WHAT MORE COULD BE PLEASING TO OUR CREATOR.

The Christian mandate is : "Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:19-20).
Proselytizing the world for Christ may at times take us to enemy territory where proselytizers are punishable by death if caught. Such territories are mostly controlled by eastern religious organizations. Therefore the onus of getting along with my Muslim or Buddhist neighbor should not one-sided, but mutual. I am not at liberty to begin hostilities in any way or form because my aim is to preserve peace. I am not responsible for their action towards me, but I am responsible to God to preserve peace.
Most Christians have no problems with peaceful coexistence because it is a command.
"Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14).
I like how Paul restates this text in Romans. Note the the condition for peaceful coexistence.
"If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18).
When faced in a confrontation with unbelievers, we need to follow biblical principles in resolving the problem. Let's note this case in point:
"Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them, but without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, saying, We strictly charged you not to teach in this name: and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:26-29).
We may be reproached periodically for the Christian way of life at work, societies, and in the areas we live or evangelize, but we are not to despair.
"If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; because the Spirit of glory and the Spirit of God resteth upon you. For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a meddler in other men's matters: but if a man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name" (1 Peter 4:14-16).

The Rev. Mbillah has done a good job by asking theological institutions or seminaries to make the teaching of Christian Muslim Relations part of their curriculum. l hope this would be of much benefit if Muslims are also tasked to do same. Most at times it is their youth who foments and causes troubles over trivial matters. l am sure Christians are ever ready to accept them. They should also learn not to be polemic in their preachings. Dr. Please keep it up
