The fight against the armed robbery menance is a must but at the same time let's be thinking of other preventive measures such as reviving SOE's such as the Asutsuare and Komenda Sugar factories etc which provided jobs for the teeming youth in the 70's untill we without a second thought started following IMF and World Bank prescriptions.We may term the SOE's socialist policies but I tell you they are key to solving the the unemployment problem with its attendant social vices such as armed robbery.Let's re-think our policies.

Advertisement fraud hits state media

Dr Derrick Owusu-Ampofo, an Economic Consultant has called for immediate investigation into operations of state-owned media advertisement and marketing departments operations following the uncovering of gargantuan fraud at Graphic Communication Group Limited.

Graphic Communication has recently sacked two officials the Advertisement Manager and the Marketing Manager for engaging in fraudulent activities in collaboration with Electoral Commission’s Senior Principal Public Relations Officer, Ms Silvia Annor during Elections 2012.

The two Graphic officials were sacked following investigation which established underhand dealings with Ms Annor. According to the Graphic sources, the two Officers and Ms Annor created a ghost advertising company through which all EC’s Electoral Advertisements were channelled through.

The three then collected 25 per cent share on the adverts and pocketed it.

Dr Owusu-Ampofo stated that the operations of the advertisement syndicate goes beyond Graphic Communication and alleged that all state-owned media marketing and advertisement departments operates ghost agencies through which advertisement moneys are channelled through for personal gains.

He therefore called for immediate investigations into operations of state-owned media advertisements and marketing department to save the nation millions of moneys which goes into private pocket.

According to information available the Graphic Communication Board Chairperson has written to EC Chairman about the conduct of Ms Annor for the appropriate administrative action.

They can not understand human order. No matter what, Nigerians will continue to indulge in crime, for that is the only negative economic activity they know. They pretend a lot. Ghanaians should know about Nigerians. When enter any society, the first thing they do is to marry there. Once they marry from their host society, these con Nigerians know that they will be accepted. They are all con men.

If Glo is a Ghanaian, I don't think you know Nigerians. I am very sure Glo is a Nigerian, a con artist.Ghana was free from armed robberies when Nigerians, these sub humans were not in Ghana. We should blame them.In Nigeria, every one minute, there is an armed robbery.Don't trust these sub human Nigerians. The only thing they know is voilence staeling.

Why don't you prove that I am Nigerian?!! I have lived among Nigerians and like Ghanaians, some are good and some are bad. True, a lot of the crime in Ghana can be attributed to Nigerians, but there are some Ghanaians who either allow themselves to be used or are also criminals. It is not good to falsely accuse someone that you have never met. I am probably more Ghanaian than you!!

2. Your "0400 hours" simply means 4 am. or "early in the morning". If so, why can't you just say so?
