The stark issue is this, and I take the liberty of publishing my views expressed on another forum:

The fact is the Supreme Court of Ghana will expose itself as the most incompetent and corrupt of courts if it finds in favour of the petitioners. Even a single minority judge ruling in favour of the client will expose him or her self as the most base and stupid of jurists.

And the reason is simple. The petitioners found all the time to make allegations and then withdraw them. They found all the time in the world to submit thousands of pink sheets and revise them by amending their petition and altering their numbers as the case proceeded. They found all the time to run through several permutations of votes to be annulled which went from 4 million plus in evidence to 3 million plus in submission.

BUT THEY DID NOT FIND THE TIME TO ASSEMBLE, UNEARTH OR STUDY THE SHORTFALL OF 2002 PINK SHEETS. They never ever gave a reason as to why those pink sheets were mysteriously not mentioned or accounted for.

They expected either of the respondents to find them so they could argue that the respondents pink sheets moreover confirms and substantiates the petitioners allegation of irregularities.

But whose responsibility was it to trawl through those 2002 pink sheets? It was most definitely the petitioners responsibility.

If you want to BE DECLARED PRESIDENT of the ENTIRE COUNTRY, you present a wholesome and a fulsome case. This petition ought to have been thrown out on the first day. That was the hope of the petitioners so that their supporters would have the excuse to go on a rampage. But everyone has played along and given them the rope to hang themselves.

Addison says if the Supreme Court does not stamp out FRAUD and CRIMINALITY it will provide people with the reason to resort to civil disobedience. Yes perhaps, but the Supreme Court has not been presented with a petition nor has it been argued in court that the case is about ELECTORAL FRAUD and CRIMINALITY.

It has been about mathematical computations based on a selected sample of pink sheets predicated on administrative matters where wilful conduct, criminality or fraud have not been alleged or attested to.

It has been a bloody waste of time and tax payers money. Typical Ghanaian love for unproductive ventures.

And the Pastors will do will to give us frank and unvarnished earthly judgement based on truth and not heavenly fantasies.

TELL IT AS IT IS. IT A USELESS PETITION. LET'S MOVE ON. LET THE NPP LOOK FOR A DISTINQUISHED LEADER TO FORM A CREDIBLE OPPOSITION CAPABLE OF GOVERNMENT.

Huey “Eddie” Nichols, Jr. was found guilty on two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact on August 5, 2013. His conviction stems from him inappropriately touching the breasts of his two stepdaughters, ages 14 and 11 at the time of the incidents. According to news reports, Nichols applied Udder Butter on the victims’ breasts claiming that he was giving them home breast exams. A prosecutor on the case said, “I can’t think of anything more damaging in our community; in our society than a police officer that chooses to break the law. It’s a betrayal.” Despite the jury’s verdict, the victims’ mother Sharon embraced her husband in court. She too, has been charged and was fired from her position as deputy county clerk.
During the trial, Nichols called the older victim a liar. But Connally told jurors, “Think about how this case begins. [She] comes forward, tells the school counselor, there’s some things going on in that house that’s not supposed to be going on. You heard her testify. What did she say? The defendant touched her breasts while he’s rubbing her belly on the couch, and conducts these home breast exams on a 14-year old child. . .” To show that he did so for the purpose of his own sexual gratification, the prosecution introduced evidence that Nichols performed Internet searches for “hot stepdaughter” and “young, sexy daughter.” Nichols is a former Harrison County Sheriff’s deputy in Texas as well as an ordained minister. He served as pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Marshall."
