Massive public sector stealing is the main cause underlying the government's inability to fulfil its financial obligations.The government must clamp down hard and mercilessly on those who steal state monies.How come that public servants live[building mansions,driving expensive cars etc] far above their incomes and nothing is done about it? Unless corruption prevention in the public sector is seriously tackled Ghana will hardly progress.

You remember the late president Mills (poor soul) himself set set up a committee to investigate his vice president John Mahama about the purchase of planes and etc. What became of it?? He died before a report could come out to incriminate Mahama.

All in the NDC know about this and they are now taking liberties to steal as much as they can. They know Mahama can do fuck all because he is part of the plan, loot and share brigade.

I agree with you 100%.Years back I wanted to change my genuinely Nigerian issued International Drivers' lincense to a Ghana drivers's one the officer at the Koforidua Driving test office insisted on taking me on a road test.When I obliged faces in the office, as well as my cousin who accompanied me changed.I went for the test and I was certified as having passed.Up to this date my cousin has not forgiven me to have failed to give the officers 'something'.That is your Ghana for you.BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION HAVE BECOME THE ONLY ACCEPTED WAY OF DOING EVERYTHING.Civic education in primary schools must be reintated!!!

Normally Ghana is a very rich Country,we have the potentials to become a great nation,if not because of greed,corruption,selffishness,mental leziness and crazy act of "get rich fast without work".
In Ghana from the President to the baby borned today,it seems all of us are corrupt and we have accepted it as a way of life,as you said.
Every generation from Independence till date,are so greedy we never think of posterity.
As we have accepted,word to word,what is writing in the Bible that,"don`t think of what you will eat tommorrow,because your Heavenly Father will provide"oh what a crazy nation,we have forgotten that,the same Bible says,"A hand which does no work will go hungry"and God help those who help themselves.
