I don’t understand why so much preoccupation with elections and the court case. Don’t people have work to do? Or is the corruption in government what drives the economy so people get jittery when there is a verdict pending. In most developed countries people focus on their jobs and are not worried about the government. Sure, they may hear the news etc., but who cares. What would Ghanaians be celebrating either way, anyway?

Ministers saving government loans in their individual foreign accounts and keeping the interest accrued before releasing the capital to nation's coffers. In fact, the SC is really wasting time that is why these crooks think they still stand a chance. Where on earth have you seen SC removing democratically elected president and putting in a 70 years old drug baron, greedy and arrogant man as president? Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. The winning may celebrate but in moderation. Why should they do that. They have won the case, they should jubilate. Suppressing the jubilation could lead to another thing. When you jubilate you release tension. I think our efforts should be on those who will loose. If You have lost, you have lost, go to your room and sleep. The losers should not do anything to disturb the peace. they should just remember that if they had won, they would have jubilated too. Stooping jubilation is the right remedy for peace, it hides things which will explode later. However on the day of judgement, both parties could be playing football whiles the judgement is going on and after the verdict, they shake hands, hug and go home. The women could be engaged in cooking contests, ampe, etc. Remember Ghana first.

It is clear and vivid that Nana Addo and the NPP will win the case and if they do, they have every right to celebrate because it would mean that something valuable was stolen from them and if the thief is caught and chastised, what next is jubilation. On the other hand, if for fear of NDC usual murder of judges, the judges rule in the thief (Mahama)'s favor, there should be no celebration because it would still be shameful for them. But for sure we are all of the view that the judges do not fear the thieves so they will rule in favor of Nana Addo and that Nana Addo will do anything to protect the judges from the murderers.

Should we prevent anyone rejoicing when he has been sitting on hot bags for 40 something days as lawyers disrespect each other. Do the bishops know the psychological effect their prescription might have on people. Let those who win rejoice and celebrate. Let those who lose wear their mourning clothes and weep. This is the only psychological remedy for the winners and the losers. If not, let them close all the beer bars or seal AWUDOME CEMETARY where some would like to go after the verdict to visit the dead.
