If a company on whose board anyone sits is cited in a report such as this one, then in my view, it is unwise for such a person to chair a review commission on the issue, not because of a conflict of interest per se, but more for the avoidance of any such doubts or impressions which in the end may urn out to be unsupported.

It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution...

Not to take the shine away from Octhere-Darko, Esq, it would be completely misplaced and extremely myopic in present day Ghana, for any politician belonging to the ruling party or any of the opposition parties to seek to suggest that the contested President John Mahama, has the guts to institute any transparent investigations to as it were, get to the bottom of all the corruption allegations, for which he's directly implicated one way or the other. Ghanaians need to wake up to the realization that, John Mahama and his clique of nation wreckers, are very much neck deep in all the corrupt deals which has led to the loss of funds which Ghana urgently needs to develop but is currently in the pockets of John Mahama and his cohorts.
The John Mahama administration does not have the will to get to the bottom of the rot and financial malfeasance which they have occasioned and the earlier Ghanaians woke up to this fact and sought of ways to remedy the situation, the better.
