The complainant bought the land from the wrong person. His beef should be with the guy who sold him something he, the chief, does not own.

Destroying food?? It is a curse emanating from envy, jealousy, hatred, etc., pure evil. May he fry in jail. Anyone who tries to help this evil out of jail will die in spirit as well.

The chief should stand trial,that is all the chiefs in as asante akim are doing, why should he sell the land. The guy who bought the land should be charged for stealing ones land. (Wise stealing) nyansa krono.

The farmer is aware that he is working on stolen property,that was not criminal enough to be arrested for trespassing someones property.Why was the chief and the farmer not arrested for stealing. The FAMANYAME mentality is destroying the country .IN Ghana today most of those been punished are always the innocent ones.Any wise man will have gone to the land owner for his approval before start working on the land that is called respect,and I don't think most Ghannians know that. Most problems about land start with criminal chiefs and they always get away .Our criminal justice system have to be reviewed, we have entrusted our lives into the hands of corrupt lawyers ,corrupt policemen/women,corrupt judges and corrupt lawyers turn politicians. The revolution is coming.Every Ghannian is religious and yet we have time for all these evil.Where in the world will a criminal(farmer)have the right to report his deeds to the police and have the rightful owner of the property arrested ,this only happens in Ghana.

I think the Rightful owner is in jail because of his infringement on what we've come know as "RULE OF LAW". The law says he has destroyed some one's property. And whether or not he is within his right to destroy the crops it is for the court to decide. He (the landlord) should have sought the help of the Police to prevent the farmer from entering his property till the 3 fellows sort out any issue to amend the problem. but he rather took the law into his own hands to deal with, and it is wrong. So we should all keep our fingers crossed to see if the court can effectively iron out this for these "3 AMIGOS" Honestly, they all have problems and as such can use some help from the system. I hope we will be kept posted on this one!

Do you know how long it takes in Ghana to claim your property once someome sole it ?.It takes at least three years if you are lucky and if the criminal moves fast to develop that property you will not get it back.The other stupid law is that if a criminal is the first to report a the case the rightful owner cant report to the police as well. It pays to be a criminal in Ghana , the law favours the criminals at the expenses of the innocent.Why do you think people kill each other because of lands. The owner warned him long before not to work on the land. I almost lost my house because someone took it over and claim ownership and rented it out ,I couldn't remove them when I came home from overseas,i have to stay at the hotel for three months, and the personal things I left behind is still not accounted for. For the past five years the case is still pending in court, I hounded the tenants and they left on their own but the case is still in the court.I will advice any of you who do not know the Ghana criminal law to be careful, because dose supporting the farmer are the doing the same thing ,stealing other peoples properties and daring you to seek justice through the court which in most cases never happen. Our criminal justice system is corrupt,the owner should have killed him,instead of destroying the food.
