No matter what the ndc and their agent provocateurs say the fact remains the country can never move forward if the majority are marginalized and excluded from truly being represented as is the the case today. after killing mills these criminals have used ideology , propaganda , election trickery and engineering leading up to rigging of the vote with the help of the heavily politicized national security . anyone who dares cry foul is persecuted by the police and lately the judiciary . we now have a govt lopsided in favor of minorities such as the ayigbe and muslim northerners , this act alone proves none of them ever believed in ghana talk less of equal opportunity for all citizens irrespective of their background. we have no choice but to recognize these facts and do what is necessary to stop the process of colonization by these misfits . the divisions among us are so great its now evident to all its only a matter when this will lead to conflict and war. they think because they control the judiciary , nation security and other institutions of oppression that they are safe but i will remind them that's what the communists in Romania , Saddam in Iraq , Gaddafi in Libya and even the British imperialists thought. the Lord is on our side and we shall soon have our freedom . the economy is going backwards , even their own people dont believe in prosperity so are hurriedly pillaging the coffers , corruption of such magnitude that they dont even bother investigating or trying to rectify these crimes in short a mess which is skydiving into a disastrous catastrophe just as Sodom and Gomorrah were until fire erased them . pepeni at the drop of a hat runs to the most ridiculous of meetings just so he may not be caught in the country when things explode . they persecute the npp but dont realise its a different kind of leader that is born in times of war and those leaders a waiting patiently for the clarion call , long live the republic of Akan . to all those who wish and pray for the de Akanization of Ghana i say may you all be burned alive

Pres, Mahama your inaction on corruption suggests you are trying to shield your croonies. If you're not involved directly or otherwise, what's then preventing you from taking a stance openly by way of the law?

Pres. Mahama, you're promising "we will fix GYEED", but you're not bringing what has gone wrong with GYEEDA into the open to begin with, so how do we know if, how, and when it's fixed?

Dr Derrick Owusu-Ampofo, an Economic Consultant has called for immediate investigation into operations of state-owned media advertisement and marketing departments operations following the uncovering of gargantuan fraud at Graphic Communication Group Limited.

Graphic Communication has recently sacked two officials the Advertisement Manager and the Marketing Manager for engaging in fraudulent activities in collaboration with Electoral Commission’s Senior Principal Public Relations Officer, Ms Silvia Annor during Elections 2012.

The two Graphic officials were sacked following investigation which established underhand dealings with Ms Annor. According to the Graphic sources, the two Officers and Ms Annor created a ghost advertising company through which all EC’s Electoral Advertisements were channelled through.

The three then collected 25 per cent share on the adverts and pocketed it.

Dr Owusu-Ampofo stated that the operations of the advertisement syndicate goes beyond Graphic Communication and alleged that all state-owned media marketing and advertisement departments operates ghost agencies through which advertisement moneys are channelled through for personal gains.

He therefore called for immediate investigations into operations of state-owned media advertisements and marketing department to save the nation millions of moneys which goes into private pocket.

According to information available the Graphic Communication Board Chairperson has written to EC Chairman about the conduct of Ms Annor for the appropriate administrative action.

First of all, what the nation needs is reassurance from the president that the necessary steps are being taken to scrutinise the report, identify any issues of poor accountability and that these will be dealt with in an open and transparent way.

The public needs to be confident in the process, and also for detractors and those who simply want to make political capital out of this to feel reassured that there is nothing 'hidden under the carpet' and that those who deserve to be punished are being dealt with accordingly.

The issue of 'remodeling' or reorganisation goes without saying. But Mr president, you cannot "remodel" a vehicle whose engine has 'ground to a halt' and needs complete overhaul and replacement.

The fact about state institutions, programmes and projects is that historically, people have seen these things as "their baby" and others have 'established their kingdoms' around these and profited at the expense of tax payers and those for whom the project was set up in the first place. These state programmes are also fertile grounds for corruption, including immorality on the part of those who have the 'power of leadership' misusing their offices in order to 'sleep around especially with young girls seeking to start a career' as a way of giving them 'favours'.

We saw this with laudable projects such as the regional development programmes in the 1970s under the Acheampong regime - VORADEP, EREDEC, URADEP etc. which were well supported by finance from the World Bank and through whose poor management the country run into debt.

There are other examples even dating back to the State Farms days under the Osagyefo Dr Nkrumah's government and more recently, the NYEP under president Kufuor which incidentally is the forbear of the GYEEDA programme.

One would have thought the GYEEDA was a "remodeling" of NYEP. If that is so, then why do we need another remodeling when the primary issue here is a complete failure of leadership?

What we need is a root and branch overhaul of the system including the leadership. What you need Mr president are credible, above-board honest people of integrity who seek no personal gain to lead such laudable projects. People who can motivate and lead the youth by example and whose primary goal is to build capacity and create an enabling environment for the youth to thrive and be innovative and successful.

I still believe the National Service system has been poorly managed and little utilised as a key fortunate state institution, and would like to see that sector also properly overhauled and blended with a New GYEEDA' which is forward-looking, focused on developing our youth and not dominated by party interests and all the nonsense that goes with that.

You should be thinking about the country's youth, not your party's youth. You should be thinking about providing a platform for confidence-building among our youth about they being stakeholders and partakers in our democracy and national development as one people with a common destiny.

Please Mr president, do not leave any stone unturned in your quest to bring about discipline, accountability and weed out corruption. Even your friends, if they have failed, must be brought to account to demonstrate that you are above board and are working ONLY in the interest of the country.

I will be a vanguard to support you if you choose this path, but if you choose to 'whitewash' us with a 'papering of the cracks', you will certainly lose my support and that of many others I suspect.
