  In any case this is good news as the money earned from this project can be used to replace the outmoded and badly dilapidated machinery in the yard.

  I was one of the few guys who questioned the whole deal,which was published,that TULLOW WAS GOING TO HANDLE THE SHIPYARDS IN GHANA.
  I always wonder why ONLY FEW PEOPLE react to such a very important issue about Ghana's development,but enjoys arguing on trivial issues,that deals sorely on politics.
  ONLY FEW SENSIBLE AND PATRIOTIC GHANAIANS QUERIED ON THAT ISSUE.
  I AM GLAD,THAT THE AUTHORITY READ OUR GRIEVANCES AND CONTEMPT ON THE DEAL,AND HAVE EFFECTED THE CHANGE WE NEED.

  No matter what the ndc and their agent provocateurs say the fact remains the country can never move forward if the majority are marginalized and excluded from truly being represented as is the the case today. after killing mills these criminals have used ideology , propaganda , election trickery and engineering leading up to rigging of the vote with the help of the heavily politicized national security . anyone who dares cry foul is persecuted by the police and lately the judiciary . we now have a govt lopsided in favor of minorities such as the ayigbe and Muslim northerners , this act alone proves none of them ever believed in Ghana talk less of equal opportunity for all citizens irrespective of their background. we have no choice but to recognize these facts and do what is necessary to stop the process of colonization by these misfits . the divisions among us are so great its now evident to all its only a matter when this will lead to conflict and war. they think because they control the judiciary , nation security and other institutions of oppression that they are safe but i will remind them that's what the communists in Romania , Saddam in Iraq , Gaddafi in Libya and even the British imperialists thought. the Lord is on our side and we shall soon have our freedom . the economy is going backwards , even their own people don't believe in prosperity so are hurriedly pillaging the coffers , corruption of such magnitude that they don't even bother investigating or trying to rectify these crimes in short a mess which is skydiving into a disastrous catastrophe just as Sodom and Gomorrah were until fire erased them . pepeni at the drop of a hat runs to the most ridiculous of meetings just so he may not be caught in the country when things explode . they persecute the npp but don't realize its a different kind of leader that is born in times of war and those leaders a waiting patiently for the clarion call , long live the republic of Akan . to all those who wish and pray for the de Akanization of Ghana i say may you all be burned alive

Can you stop this akan and other tribes matter and come out with ideas on how we improve the way we live in our country?.I do not know the sort of education you have had, but I see your ignorance and the lack of knowledge shown in this your piece of writing.   it is obvious things are deteriorating faster than we had expected. when the law is used the abuse the right of opinion and freedom of speech it proves we are now in an authoritarian state ruled by bugga bugga politicians , buga buga idiot judges , buga buga security forces and buga buga civil servants of the pepeni and ayigbe nkwaseafuo gay perverse no morality persuasion . we are now entering the pre war era whereby they seek to jail and break the spirit of every Akan who dares speak up under the guise of contempt of court . we shall have our war and sweet sweet vengeance soon . it is time to punish these arrogant ndc buga buga fools. first they deny us our development will rawlings , then kill our man of hope mills and now steal the elections , this evil will never stop until we burn them all on the bonfire

  There are some people in this country,it is they intentions to see this country and her people to suffer.Nearly every day,we all talk abt lack of jobs in the country so,what will go through every good thinking person's mind if Tullow want to maintain PSC Tema shipyard which will give jobs to the youth? So,enemies of all that is good.Let them wear whom the cape fit.Please Tullow go ahead to do what is good!!

  Government should move beyond these assurances and put a team of Ghanaian engineers in place to design, develop and mordernise the shipyard. What will this take? Look at models which has worked elsewhere, obtain the knowledge and parameters from it, take those parameters and use it to do a live testing and an evaluation of the shipyard and then proceed to transfer the acquired-knowledge into the situation at the shipyard, doing slight adjustment to standardized it before you build. This is so simple so I can't understand why leaders and managers don't get this.

  A general lack of education among the electorate, makes them receptive to empty promises. Moreover, a politician's unflinching desire to hold unto power, undermines long term plans. The panacea to this chicken and egg syndrome is to decouple real national development agenda from politics. A national plan to develop our infrastructure, education etc. must be devoid of political impediments, otherwise we will be stuck in a retrogressive state.
  
  If Ghana is not getting the short end of the stick, then the sector minister must be commended for her initiative.
  
  Think about the fact that, West Africa is slowly becoming a target for oil and gas exploration. The need then arises to maintain equipment at a reasonable cost, which can only happen if such service is available within the region. In fact why stop there, we can scale that operation to the maintenance of merchant marine vessels.
  
  We have to think big as a people and refrain from political pettiness. Ghana should be a very rich country, by high standards, and I know we can get there.
