  Initially, I was of the view that Sir John should be spared a jail sentence. However, it appears some people in Ghana believe that they can use mob action to get what they want. No one is above the law, so they should let the law take its natural course, whether Sir John is the General Secretary of NPP or not. That is why he should have been careful with his language.
  
  The problem in Ghana is lawlessness and this is typical example of lawlessness at its height. Animal Farm in Ghana. Vigil, prayers, converging at Party HQ, wearing red and black; fasting, regional prayers, etc are all unnecessary. They are acts of lawlessness, waste of time and resources.

Should NPP continue to tow the line of peace at all times, NDC would continue to show them the red card.Who knows the judges may even think that, after all, if they rule the case in favour of Mahama, Nana would not throw even one blow, in that case,they would go that way. Nana Addo is overly democratic. This is Africa.Listen to someone, Nana needs to be given Nobel Peace Prize. If that is all that Nana deserves,with his spirit of nationalism, then, be it, let him go for it. Nana should ginger the party faithfuls a little, by showing his strength.Ghanaians have used Nana's democratic stand to undo all that he stands for as a fine statesman.I am of a firm belief that, Ghana under Nana would see massive transformation. Let all help to bring this vision to pass. Its not about Nana as a person, but what I think, he could do for our nation.

  NPP is a political party build around the rule of Law. Every member should always remember when it come to crime you are not part of us. St John is our member and has done something whether wrong or right the Coutts decides.
  Personal comments by anybody has nothing to do with NPP members because we all should know the Law and obey by it.

  Most NPP members are quite interesting. They do not see the need to have a vigil and pray for the peace and stability of Ghana but have the gust to have a vigil to pray for somebody who has purposefully despised the supreme court. And these people call themselves believers in Christ. How can you hold a vigil for someone who have described a supreme court judge, created in the image of God, as a voodoo god. Even Joseph who did no wrong was imprisoned, so they better quit wasting their time, because God would not listen to such prayers. When they pray according to the will of God he would hear them. The will of God is to see Ghana in peace. Sir John has done what is wrong and he deserves to be punished. That is it. When the judges temper justice with mercy, that is their prerogative.
