The advise Arthur Kennedy is offering "Sir John" clearly shows that he wishes him not well, but evil. The pronouncements Mr. Owusu-Afriyie made is so grave, such that it would take the most celebrated lawyer to earn him a suspended sentence. As it is now, even if he hired Justice Atuguba himself as his defence council, he would still not go scot-free.

Sir John can take Arthur K´s ill-advise and face the judges in a head-on collusion. That would be mere fool-hardiness.

The only option he has is to go to the court with a contrite heart - truly remorseful, and ready to apologise unreservedly. This would be the way a loved one would advise the accused G.S. of the biggest opposition party.

Look, Justice Atubuga is a very forgiving man. If Sir John is able to kneel down and apologize, it would be first in history in Ghana (and probably in the whole world) where a fully qualified practising lawyer has begged for pardon on his knees at a court. I believe the judges will be deeply touched by his admission of guilt and show of remorse and promise to not repeat the misdemeanour again.

If he follows Arthur K's words, he could have a very shocking day!

You guys should be ashamed of what Sir John said. If it were in these civilised parts and a major party official was caught to have said those things even in private, he'd be forced to resign by now! As a practising Lawyer, Sir John is expected to know the parameters of Contempt of Court rule during active proceeding, and take more appropriate precautions to avoid this. His statement is absolutely offensive to Justice Atuguba and really contemptible to the SC proceeding.

Only a few days ago owusu afriyei said that he had not received the summons from the Supreme Court. I suppose he as now officially received the summon and as I can see, he is getting himself ready for the appearance with the Lordship Justice. Let's hear from the so called London trained 'lawyer afriyie' been making all the noise about the law and how much he knows the best!!. It should be drummed into his hollow head that appearance before the SC judges is not same as smoking the grass cutter @ akranti3 or the rat 'okusie' and waiting violently to catch it. At the court owusu afriyie must show regret and remorse for his utterances and he be cautious about his English Language. No vernacular, Asante Twi English please as it could create misinterpretation and dichotomy. Don't copy the arrogance of Bawumia or Kuranchie. All courts do not take kindly to such a behaviour especially, when one cannot produce the facts or witnesses to substantiate their claims.

Sir John, be brave and take it like a real man would do. You erred and must face the firing squad. Just hope the bullet misses or at best just scracthes and leaves you whole for the pundits. I know Aseidu and co. are salavating to be choosen as the shooters. Who knows, Judge Atuguba might be somewhat jovial with his approach and warn you for the second time because you at least went around trying to sensitize your supporters not to play buffons after the virdict.

That is why He admonishes us to reconcile with those who have wronged us and those we have wronged, before offering our prayers. So the NPP women could have done the noble thing by pleading with Justice Atuguba on behalf of Sir John, instead of congregating at their Party HQrs, as if that is the residence of God. He is a just and impartial God, and cannot be mocked or manipulated. The NPP better show remorse or not, and leave God out of the matter.
