The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. I am alive and awake in the Lord. Ghana will not die; Ghana will live to declare the works of the Lord. What is wrong with us, Ghanaians? So until Sir John was invited, none of the people begging and doing all kinds of lobbying for leniency did not see how distasteful and disrespectful his attack on the personality of Justice Atuguba was? If they did know, did they ever advise him to retract or apologize? We will continue to do the wrong things and cry crocodile tears for reprieve all the time. Sir John's tantrums was the worse thing to ever happen to the petition hearing! Personal attack is akin to what happened in 1982 to three judges. As a lawyer he should know better. One is not knowledgeable if the person doesn't know the application of information available to that person. Sir John probably has a lot of legal information in his head but not wise enough to translate it into knowledge.

...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.

I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

All those who are involved in this behind-the-scene diplomacy, have they ever advised this stupid acid tongue sir John or what ever he calls himself that in society or at least in the Ghanaian customs he need to respect elders and dont treat them as play mates. The kind of democracy with unlimited free speech that we are practising in Ghana, if not checked can lead to chaos in this country. He should be sent to jail even if it is for five minutes to go for reform. Such people like the so called Sir John who are planting bad behaviour among the youth in this country.

Why can't the judges concentrate on the important business before them and stop gluing their ears to the ground to hear who is saying what? The fact that they are supreme court judges doesn't make them tin gods. The whole world over, all types of comments are made by citizens about judges and cases before them. Judges worth their salt rarely pay any attention but concentrate on the business before them. Hopefully, these "almighty" men and women are not trying to make zombies of Ghanaians so we can sheepishly accept a skewed judgment. The chairman's performance so far leaves a lot to worry about.
