The nation wrecking, bomb throwing UP/NPP put into motion between 2001-2008 its anti civil service/workers agenda and attempts to quell freedom of speech when they subtly fired some public servants they perceived as political enemies by cunningly asked them to "procced on leave".

These are the mean spirited and hypcorites who claim to beblieve in the rule of law but does the exact opposite. NPP doesn't believe in what they say and never say what they believe in.

Most young Ghanaians know little or nothing about the NLM/NLC and the danquah-Busia tradition; the capaigns and bomb throwing against Dr/ Nkrumah,the CPP and the Young Poineer movement.

Hard as you try, you guys cannot convince us that Nkrumah was a saint. He was a brutal dictator and he was met with a brutal opposition. If Nkrumah was good for Ghana, then the NLM/NLC was equally good for Ghana. Ask yourself, why has the NDC not renamed the Kotoka Airport after Mills or any of their preferred heroes?

Killing of judges? AFRC/PNDC were not political parties and therefore can't blame those murders on any of the current political parties in the country. However, we can blame some individuals who constituted the military junta that formed the government at the time and those included JJ Rawlings, JA Kofi Diawuo Kuffuor, Charles Wereko Brobbey and a host of others. Besides this, ever heard the psychological torture of judges enaged in by PP government led by Busia of his infamous "No court, no court..." pronouncement? That was the most shameful and the darkiest day of Ghana's jurisprudence perpetuated by a bunch of hooligans who claimed to be democrats. Did Afrifa, one of the leaders of UP/PP/NPP, have a hand in the execution of Arthur and Yeboah? Please, you can live in your disjointed and twisted history but the rest of us know better so shove your lies deep down where the sun never shines, ok?

Is it also not pathetic to attempt to rope in Kufuor and NPP to share in the abominable acts of the PNDC? Even the common NDC foot soldier cannot associate himself with AFRC/PNDC, yet your party was founded on those regimes and principles. How pathetic!!!

Lastly, can you tell us which UP/PP/NPP officials bought "perceived Nigerians' businesses? As usual the NDC will run away from concrete evidence and argue on hearsay and propaganda. Well, you can shove your propaganda down the throat of your foot soldiers but leave discerning minds out of this deliberately twisted history.

My fellow citizens what has most of these various history postings have to do the price of basic foods, availability of health care as Justice Dotse mentioned or the cost of school uniform and text books for children? We have experienced the value system of our politicians and know they all do not believe in accountable governance. They seek power for themselves to get rich because our nation is young and does not have a sustainably working accountability checks and balances. The weaknesses exposed in the electoral system we had assumed was fairly good but resulted in this drawn out petition and insensitive utterances in the media/airwaves are symptomatic.

We experience life through the rear view mirror but to survive we must look through the windshield to avoid driving into a ditch or into some fixed object ahead. So history is okay to help us not to repeat the past but it cannot help us have a better ride into the future. Using our political history to justify that the drivers from one club(party) are better than drivers of another club is dangerous especially based on our 56 years as a self governing nation. If the vehicle (our democratic system) has squeaky and faulty parts, then our discourse should focus on how we can make the system function better for all citizens.

The RAW pugilistic tone of punch counter punch exhibited in this medium is rather unfortunate and not helpful. Wisdom is not the monopoly of any one group. We as citizens must not allow ourselves to be held hostage by a few office public personalities who practice "illegal political galamsey" ( Justice Atububa)to disturb our lives. A good example of this illegal political galamsey is for all the Political Parties to circle the wagon against the GII survey that political parties are corrupt. That was a clear demonstration of how these politicians take us for granted. A friend who has bet me that nothing will come out of the GYEEDA, SADA and Woyome scandals sent an e-text "oyiwa". meaning I told you so. A sad situation indeed!

I wish we can use this medium to discuss public accountability and probity of those who we choose to run our affairs with suggestions to ensure the presidency will execute the laws of our land without favor. Parliament will make laws that will correct leaks that allow the rich and the well connect to get away with crimes and a Judiciary that is beyond reproach.

We must hold accountable our political and public officials by the difference they make in our lives and not the lies they tell us. We must stand for the truth and not allow their propaganda to psychologically torment us.

My fellow citizens : "Afie ye a"? Is all well in our house (Ghana) If the answer is negative, then we must focus our discourse on the future and stop mud slinging We mustdevelop a world class educational system, basic affordable health care for all, food security and good drinking water and an environment that will unleash the entrepreneurial spirit of our people to create businesses and jobs for those able and willing to work. Just to mention a few.

Freedom and Justice is what we must stand for . Running a country is not a beauty contest because " the beautiful ones are not yet born" Thanks.
