In my opinion, I think an advisory board need to be formed to sit down the players who have issues with the entire executives both technical and GFA to trash out issues that diminishes the nation's teams rather than boosting off on their seniority boosts. Africa mentality of seniority boost needs a back off sometimes to give way to "PLEEEASE" in other to enroll the necessity of a growth where immediate requirement is due. I will continue to emphasize that, Michael Essien, Ali Muntari, The Ayews, Kevin Price Boateng and must include former captain Steven Appiah needs to be invited for exclusive meeting immediately by the board before September 6th. Note that our experience players have every guts to talk or exercise their opinion for the betterment of our beloved national team. ("TO 'E' IS HUMAN").

We played horribly and Zambia bumped us out at the semis. Coach Stevanovich was let go after the tournament and Akeasi Appiah became Coach. Is it a coincidence or by design that Quincy, despite tremendous form and skill, has not appeared on Appiah's radar but he is rather calling third rate materials? You go to war with your best troops and bet arsenal but have Akwasi Appiah and Nyantakyi been picking rubbish for our serious engagements? in defence the likes of afful, and rashid are being given undeserved prominence. rashid for instance has been overhyped. afful is just not suitable for the left full back position when we have david addy and kissi boateng. also because we have opare and nkoom for the right full back afful does not deserve a place in the starting lineup.

This is what I have noticed and is probably the reason why Appiah keeps maintaining him because I can't see any other reason. As for Mahatma Otoo, I think he is very promising, just like Wakasso.

But inactivity and new position assignments in foreign clubs has left him confused. He was supposed to lead the charge in General Ataturk stadium but things did not work exceedingly well.The legendary Baby Jet had to come to the rescue of Adiyah. Maybe, maybe,he has to be content with the role of a super substitute. Coach Appiah on the other hand still has high hopes for Adiyah even though Adiyah's future as a daredevil striker may be hopeless. Wakasso played excellently and confidently and his stamina seemed infinite in the Turkey game.
Some problems still remain. When will the final team be consolidated? Will the foreign clubs allow the Ghanaian players to be available for the Zambian game or Appiah will have to wait and see who will show up? In that case ,four of the U20 strikers must join the Black Stars and be conditioned into shape for the Kumasi Showdown in case some of the Black Star strikers arrived too late or could not show up for the game in Kumasi. Has the coach gathered enough information about the game strategy of the Zambians , as a good coach would do in this important game? Will the Zambians score an early goal and play 24-hour defence? Are they planning to force the Black Stars to play with 10 men by forcing them to concede a red card? What are the ad hoc battle formations for the Black Stars which will negate any game plan of the Zambians. Since this game could be decided by a penalty shootout, who are the designated penalty takers.Will this include Baby Jet Gyan, Wakasso, Kwadwo Asamoah, Atsu, Agyeman Badu, Muntari (if available). Have they worked on the technique over and over again?
Ghana must prevail over the Zambians. Forward Ever, Backward Never.

As for the full back positions, I have no trust in Addy and Inkoom. Any experienced winger can easily outwit them. Inkoom though is capable of playing other positions. Strange enough, they are both good when moving in front than defending at the back.

The spectacular touch passes from the back are not always the best. The first goal was due to a failure to properly clear the ball out of the box. The second goal was the result of a sloppy pass that led to a one on one with a Turkish attacking player who simply beat Jonathan Mensah to the point and scored from an incredible angle.
