Chronicling the events that unfolded during his incarceration, Ken Kuranchie has expressed doubt about the civilization of the country. He said: "we have no right to call ourselves civilized people.”. In his view, Ken Kuranchie, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight, explained his 10-day prison experience after being declared contemptuous of court following a publication in his newspaper, said: "Ghanaians have no right to call themselves “civilized people.”

Mubarak had freed at least three or more armed robbers saying they are his relatives. Think. NDC is fully behind the spate of unrelenting armed robberies going on in the Ashanti region. They have vowed to make the region " a no go area for law abiding citizens" all due to their deep hatred towards Ashantis.

Did you read the Wikileaks reports in which the then president Mills saying that he "feared the Ashanti project and what type of project was he referring to?

I am not an Ashanti but they are more tolerant than most tribes in Ghana. Go to Kumasi and you will find people from all walks of life making a living in that region.

Its maximum effective range is 500 metres and its cyclic rate is between 500 and 600 rounds per minute. Either the police or the journalists exaggerated concerning the range but it's still worrying that such weapons of destruction are available in the country. However,I don't agree with Mr Aning that they were necessarily imported through the ports. They were most likely to have been smuggled from Ivory Coast, where lots of small arms are still unaccounted for after the civil war.
