  ".....Just as he left his mark on our nation’s constitutional history as Attorney General, so did he as a member of the Bench, particularly in his tenure as Justice of the Supreme Court. It was he who led the majority on the Court, in the celebrated case of the NPP v Attorney General, to outlaw the official celebration of the 31st December coup as being offensive to the letter and spirit of the democratic Constitution of the Fourth Republic. Adade JSC ‘s authoritative opinion in the case remains a landmark in the annals of constitutional interpretation in our country. He was, indeed, the great Chief Justice our nation never had.
  
  I must express my gratitude to him for the insightful advice he gave me when, some thirty years later, I, in my turn, was appointed Attorney General. It helped me considerably...."
  
  Do I understand this paragraph to mean that when you Nana Addo became Attorney-General in 2001, that was 30years when Justice NYB Adade led the Supreme Court to rule out Dec 31st celebration?

  NYB Adade....the extraordinary, humble, quiet, astute Attorney General, Supreme Court justice and member of council of state: Honorable NYB Adade is gone after quietly transforming the jurisprudence of Ghana with skillset unmatched by today's loud-mouth arrogant lawyers. Justice Adade believes in rule of law and great advocate for the truth. He was never a ruble rouser but believes in arguing about the law and still earns respect from your adversary. Any encounter with Justice Adade irrespective of the side of the law you are, you still walk away in awe as a result of his graciousness, nobleness, honesty and friendliness. May He rest in Peace.
