Life must go on and a new outlook he must have as he picks himself up! It must be a lesson for all of us.

But for once, can we focus on issues that are development-oriented! Enough of politicians' excessive dwelling on trivialities and many social commentators focusing so much on the fringes of social discourse!

We need to talk so much about ways and means to uproot the ills of our economy and get it moving with tangible results. We need to talk so much about business innovations, ways to add value to our raw products, ways to deal with the helplessness of the law to deal with verified thieves of the national coffers, ways to confront heads on hidden drug empires and their nefarious dark activities! And when the talk has discovered a viable consensus we go for implementation. Or think and talk seriously of better ways of implementing all that we know already or talk about confronting any bottlenecks choking the wheels of development. Check the Oil Industry for example. Check the nature of our Education system not turning out products that have workable and profitable skills to develop the nation. And et cet·er·a.

For once Ghana must change its over-emphasis on personalities and their struggles with their own recalcitrant behaviors and bring all energies and time to bear on BUSINESSES and the ECONOMY!

Enough of the skewed politics! Enough of the political bickering! More of developmental issues!!!

In all these elections when NDC was not in the scene we did not see the level of tensions we have been seeing since the NDC metarmophosed from coup makers, used state funds to form a political party and infact stole elections which resulted in the writting of the stolen verdict, the steaking of ballot boxes, the use of the army to intimidate etc. All these while the UP tradition had been cool and calm until 2000 when the good Lord kicked out the NDC. Today listen to Sam Pee Yarley, it's just that Ghaiaians are loving people who can forgive and forget otherwise where will this (P)NDC stand when it comes to politics or democracy and for them to have effontry to call the NPP violent.

Wherever the judges turn this is going to be a tough call. Atuguba was just reacting to the fury of the threat issues by Sir John. He knows it is a credible threat, he knows the NPP hierarchy never condemmed Sir John and he knows in Tamale alone NDC would not allow a sitting President to be removed. He was clearly frustrated, he knows this is a tough call. My advise is that he should do what the constitution and the law asks him to do and he will be alright, actually that is what the RULE OF LAW is about. Fuck Sir John, Fuck John Mahama, what does the constitution say.... that is what is paramount
