Three years ago whiles in Ghana I travel with Antrak Plane from Accra to Kumasi. I noticed that a repair work has been carry out at the tail end of the plane, but the filler works has not been paint. one month later on my return trip was with the same plane the repair still not paint.
Six months later I saw the same plane with the repair work not painted. I refuse to fly with them to Kumasi and I told the Cashier at Accra domestic airport why. I did travel with another airline which I found was even cheaper in price.
On my return trip to Accra four weeks later, whiles I was waiting for my flight with the other airline, the Antrak plane came in to Kumasi Airport with the tail end nicely painted.
My point is this show that the management only care about profit. The authorities are useless for allowing an aircraft to fly for over 8 months with and incomplete body works. Ghana has gone to the Dogs.

Forget it Titus, Antrak belongs to an NDC stalwart so nothing will be done about it. I know of some senior officers of Antrac who were sacked by the boss for complaining of cutting corners.

All I will say is "EDUCATED CONSUMER IS THE BEST CUSTOMER" Let's all be aware that we seek product information before we start is consumption be it service or a commodity. If Antrack belongs to NDC gurus and they won't do any innovation to improve the quality and the safety of thier services then customers should opt to choose to fly with other shuttle planes such as starbow. We should wise up and apply principle of economics over here: Free market, demand and supply should all be apply here in our travel decisions to make Antrak airline either falls flat or improves their their services. For two times I have flown with them I noticed that the aircrat dropped heights in the middle of the sky. The latest I witnessed that was Nov 30, 2012 when I got down from Virgin Altantic at Kotoka and jump into Kumasi bound Antrak. I felt the the diffrence. A journey of about 45 mins, the Antrak's aircraft dropped height several times before it touched down in Kumasi Airport.

The way he is behaving depicts his ignorance about the industry he is dealing with.
Pilots dont get their licenses like how he Titus will sit home and get a driving license for his girl friend or wife. Pilots goes through a professional schooling and training to obtain their licenses and he can attest to the fact that not anybody can be a Pilot. After their schooling, they go through another training and for even to pass out as a Captain you need not less than 2000hrs to obtain his ATPL which after he goes through line training for about 2months to pass out. The Captain in command has to fly with an experienced Co-Pilot.
Engine fire is not new to the aviation industry and every Pilot has the training to deal with this situation.It happens to other jets and it crashes. In this situation there wasnt an emergency because the Captain dealt with the situation and came back to land safely without the presence of the Fire service.The plane is under the supervision of the Spanish CAA with all engineers coming from Spain.
If Titus is saying all Antrak Air planes should be grounded because of one situation,has he considered the workers interest as well.If he wants to do politics here,has he considered that those who queue to vote for him in Tema to become who he is now are with that airline.
He should stop the nonesence and think about how Tema East is going to be developed.He should use this energy and influence to get sewage at his constituency solved than going round trying to run Antrak Air down. to

It would serve them good if they would at least invest some of their money in equipping their airline, with some badly needed new, strong and capable aircrafts, which are duly insured, to forestall any untoward incidents, which can be easily averted, it the correct steps are taken today, instead of waiting for a disaster to happen. The aviation transport inspectors should also be seen to be working and ensuring that, lives and property are protected, by writing off unworthy airplanes which could spell the doom of the citizenry, by their continued operation in our airspace.
