  Excellent piece Mr. Gutto. You have said it all and thank you. I always thought I was the only one day dreaming about such issues concerning our legal, constitutional system. I always say that "Democracy" is and should be DEFINED based on environment or location just like the WEATHER. No weather is the same everywhere. The laws of Britain, US, Germany, France are just for them and WE in Africa should also have laws and practice laws that pertains to our countries.

  I think we should incorporate more of our local common laws . Correction you said S A common law was imported by the Romans . Wrong By The Dutch Afrikaaner settlers and imposed on the indegenes
