For 4 years, they couldn't find any evidence to present in court to prosecute the so-called suspects.
Funny enough, those thugs who burnt properties belonging to NPP sympathisers in Gumbuhini,Choggu e.t.c. were never arrested.
After 4 years of being kept in jail with no charges, every sane Ghanaian knew what the NDC had in mind.

I don't know if the likes of you know or understand how the jury system works and I'm not going to explain that to you. However, all I can say is, the judge is going by the jury's recommendation. Of course, he has some leeway but can choose to stick with the recommendation by the jury.

Simple we all know the trouble in the north concerning killing and fighting. At the hour were political tension is extremely high you sentence an NNP member to death and others to life imprisonment. Obviously some NPP members might not understand and foolishly strike, but if that don't happen NDC members can strike their fellow NDC to seem like it is a revenge from NPP and finally the war start irrespective of who wins the case. Just look the messy politicians we are having now, looting everywhere and people not agreeing to voting results even when re-checked. In other countries, leaders' resign when under-perform. Also, all their goals are towards the development of their country before thinking about their salary and other extra necessities.
