I know and believe that over 99% will not forgive Akufo to seek review of the verdict. That is why Nana should take the lead to address this case. This is the last chance to save his name and integrity. He must do so now.

People can understand Mahama and NDC if the petition is upheld and sought review, but not with NANA.

We should only pray that whatever verdict that will come out will make it impossible for any party to go in for a review.For eg a 8-1or 7-2 will discourage everybody,too much litigation will not paint a good picture.

Unless some of the Supreme Court’s 9 justices hearing the case are CHANGED, then what the heck do you expect from the original nine’s verdict?

Enough of talking TRASH and JERKING Ghanaians around is enough. Ghana does not belong to a few ugly dressing men—with bad haircuts. Just cut the foolishness to size and let's have PEACE in the country.

His hide is as thick as the hide of a rhino. This means his intrails will be firm like that of a teen. If he plays this well, he could mount another credible run for the position.

Why cant these people who hold themselves as elder Statesmen and Legal minds give us the definitive and magisterial case. The Supreme Court sits as both an Appellate Court and a Constitutional Court. When it sits as an Appellate Court then its decisions can be reviewed. When it sits as a Constitutional Court, its decisions are FINAL. It is not a matter of whether the aggrieved party should or should not consider a review.

NO REVIEW IS OCCASIONED UPON A CONSTITUTIONAL RULING.

We are truly a Banana Republic. Never in the civilised world shall we experience Peace Council and Elder Statesmen getting involved to influence the decision of Supreme Court Judges.
It is only in Ghana that this monkey business is taking place. Is the Supreme Court a Kangaroo Court that everyone else is making it sound?. What are the fears of the wise men and women?. Why should Sam Okudjeto come in? .Why should IEA come in?. Why should the Peace Council come in?. Why are most people talking about peace when there is no war intended?. Are we Ghanaians a peaceful group of people?.
We are determining our own fate, not God the Father who has crowned us with glory and honour,placed everything under our feet: all flocks and herds, and the beast of the field, the birds of the air and the fish of the sea and all that swim the paths of the sea.

So why can we not resolve the simple matter of judges doing their work properly?. If they are no good, the international community can give us judges to resolve our election problems.
2012 general elections in Ghana is the most expensive elections ever held in Ghana. We are still paying the high court judges eight months after the failed elections. Journalists have ben jailed because of the Supreme Court hearing for contempt. Other Party officials have been found guilty for contempt yet, in all these things, if the impression we are having is that the Supreme court judges require the intervention of others before they can deliver their verdict then Ghana is truly a Banana Republic.
The bottom line is that the right winner must be the winner. The Pink Sheets form the basis of the evidence for the ruling so please Dr Afari Djan keep them safe in case we may need them again.

Like homosexuality and lesbianism, they enforce it on our throat;
For they know that we are peace-seekers, not justice-seekers.
Out of justice comes the right for self-determination;
Out of justice comes foresight, the invigorating power of creativity, and inventions;
Out of justice comes equal partnership;
Out of justice comes respect for one another even between the powerful and the weaker;
Patriarch Abraham, seeking justice, became God's friend, and peace came upon him and his descendants.
THERE CAN NEVER BE PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE;

I think both leadership of the NPP and NDC should as a matter of expediency listen to the voices of reason and consider the larger interest of the nation by dropping their right to review the verdict. The review may not change any mind at the Court! At best, it can breed trouble!

Ghana has bled too much! Enough is enough. The best bet is to concentrate on development and eradication of corruption and poverty. We should harness the huge potential of the youth to grease the engine of development!

Excessive politics, focused on too much political wrangling and sometimes trivialities is draining the developmental resources of the nation. And the earlier our politicians considered this seriously the better for the nation.

The constitution says if you're dissatisfied with the ruling of the supreme court, you can go and appeal to have it overturned. The law is the constitution and NOT sympathisers of NPP like Sam okudzeto
