I chanced on something aroud Accra Girls Sec School secondary which made me to appreciate the value of the stationing of police officers in their pick ups around in the city. A tipper truck knocked down one of this unlicensed motor riders at Accra Girls Sec School. The rest of the riders from Nima tried to pull out the driver of the tipper truck to unleash their beating.In the course of forcing the driver out, the police patrol stationed aroud Golh House were on the scene and this really saved this tipper truck driver. What would have been the situation if the police were far away from this scene?
This approach to work by the police should be replicated in the country to offer the citizens assurance and safety. I expect this kind of thing will be reinforced on this occasion with the police fully armed. What are we going to do?

If any of the regions bordering Ashanti get any of these personnel, it is to contain any presummed actions of people in NPP strongholds. Look, why are we soo worried spending money for all these things including military APC's if the intent of this ruling party is not to do something crazy..bribe these judges to confirm them? We cannot pay single spine salaries but we keep buying more police and military gadgets. Why are we talking peace but keep putting people in ver apprehensive moods? I am VERY uncomfortable with the actions of the IGP and his nothern counterparts in the military. Look, you cannot be ruling for 100 years. Whatever you do, you might not live long to enjoy the money you are stealing. What happened when one crazy drug induced military man took power, he killed military leaders who have become farmers in their villages. My question is, which way the verdict goes,who is going to fight who?Are we going to have a political party war,that is NDC against NPP or we are going in for a civil war?In this case which Region or which tribe is going to fight whom?
I think even the Police are now causing more fear and panic among the population.
