Well, if you NDC guys keep on using your criminal expertise to steal elections, how do you expect anybody else to win?

Anyway, it is a known fact that former President Kufuors network in the NPP include this Afoko guy and Kyeremateng. However it is a 'dud' team, in the sense that Kyeremateng is a born loser. Apart from the fact that Kyeremateng has absolutely no charisma at all to sway any electorate at any level and place onto his side, he has successfully managed to lose almost every election he has stood for in recent memory. He is a bit like JB Danquah.

The worse and the most decisive thrashing he got was when he was recently expelled in the preliminary process of his NDC supported impetuous bid to head UNESCO.

The obvious fact that he is not cut out for leadership role is precisely the very same fact as to why the NDC has virtually and shamelessly been promoting him and undermining Akuffo-Addos efforts towards the Presidency. They know that with Alan Kyeremateng as a Presidential candidate of the NPP, the NDC can virtually go to sleep on election day and they will still win hands down, even without stealing, ballot-rigging and Afare-Djan.

The NDCs attitude towards Kyeremateng is like the imperialists flattering attitude towards useless and incompetent African leaders. They (imperialists) sympathize with inept African leaders only so that they can manipulate them to freely and cheaply take over our Ghana-Telecoms for a few hundred million dollars instead of a few billion dollars and throw at us the small change like 12% revenue of what once used to be our oil.

As for Paul Afoko, he is the NPPs singular and proud answer to Woyome and Agambire combined. A leg-man between Kufuor and Kyeremateng, and whose mysterious wheeler-dealing activities can conjure so much money as to earn his master the (un)enviable nickname of Alan Cash.

I do not think Akuffo-Addo or for that matter anybody in the NPP can turn the fortunes of this country around for the better at this moment in time. The NDC is even worse-placed to deliver us from Babylon. However, my honest advice to Kyeremateng is that, he should not allow himself to be goaded as a pawn of the interests of other people only to go and get trounced and embarrass himself yet again. He is no co-equal of Akuffo-Addo in anything except physical size - if that matters.

Nana Addo won the NPP primaries because of his old standing treachery and threats of pulling away the Akyem faction from the NPP. Nana may be carved out as a reformer but not a president. We thank Nana Addo for all the shake-ups he has brought into the national political scene but he should forget ever being the elected president of Ghana. His last reform could be the on-going court case.

It is not surprising the Al-Hajj would pay such a deep interest in what seems to be a little sign of discontent among the NPP leadership. To the anti-NPP, such a seeming rift is a welcome sign of an ailing Party that can be taken advantage of with needless propaganda to exaggerate its problems.

Left to the Al-Hajj, the NPP would be dead and that Paper would then enjoy dancing on its grave. The Paper should not play hyena to the NPP because it is not dead yet. It would bounce back stronger, if it could just cool down a little and sort things out between the disaffected trio of Tarzan, Kennedy and Tamakloe. My fears are the Al-Hajj and its cohorts would continue to trumpet the furlong wish of NPP's demise as some imminent event to scare potential new members away from it.

In spite of all the NPP's mistakes, it is still a viable Party and the most vibrant Opposition we have ever gotten and we cannot discount its relevance to our Democracy. But the Al-Hajj must be very careful because it could be the laughing stock of the Media when the NPP survives the current challenges. The Akyem versus Ashanti/Northern Ghana feud within the NPP is not as bad as the Paper makes it even if we were to admit it.

In fact, to me, there is not such feud at all in the NPP. It is all about the competition of strong ideas. And all the Party needs to do is to open up more to accommodate the moderate and it could be the most reliable Party of all.

It is unfortunate that Nana Akufo-Addo
could not intervene earlier on to appeal for calm among the vociferous activists like Ursula,Tarzan, et al. In that sense, the escalation is the Party's own fault. But the membership should act quickly so that the hyenas could not prey on the Party pre-maturely before it is gone beyond recovery. If the Al-Hajj has resources to spend, it should use them to improve its own favorite Party, the NDC. Any prediction by the Al-Hajj that the NPP is going down would be a farce. Ghana needs a vibrant Opposition, and we should encourage all to respect it, whichever Party it might be.

This writer on many occasions tried to incite other tribes against Akans and more try to create divisions between Asantes and Akyems. At this time of Ghana's trial moments when all are seeking peace and unity this devil of satans kindom is still at the center of trouble making. He should be invited to answer why the law should not deal with him as has been done to others. It should not be against the Justices alone before it is seen as a crime.
