I don't mean academic qualifications but Plans and Strategy to get the job done. B'cos a true leader should be an all round man,not lack in ideas,should know what he want done, his targets,priorities,and Changes on paper and not in your head,before you ascend the Throne.So based on the briefed you had when you became the President,then you make adjustment in your notes,if any.You don't win elections to become the president before you start to think of what to do.It's interesting to note that one does not need any higher academic qualifications as Ghanaians think and expect,to be able to do that.Just a basic proficiency in reading is ok,but must HAVE a Good Balance of Intuitive Sense And Reason
Therefore,any former Form 4, JSS,O'Level,B'sc whatever if he has the above Could be the leader and be able to deliver whether you believe it,like it or not!
Most of us think the person should be highly educated,No. Yes we need the highly educated in their field of endeavours but not necessary as the president.Believe it or not there are leaders and there are followers.Therefore,not every one Can be the leader.
That's most of the reasons why Ghana has leadership problems.
So be able to identify what needed to be done to move the Country forward,before you make an attempt to stand for elections.
