All of a sudden nonentities want to portray to the world how close they were to the late President.
Those who had to chat with him for one hour everyday, those Deputy Ministers who had to call him every morning before the man could even brush his teeth, and still those who would be called to the Castle by the late President to express his appreciation for job well done after they had gone to insult political opponents in the media on his behalf. Shameless id.iots raising their egos.

The Police Services should not turn Ghana into a "police state" with too many bans and regulations.

The Security agencies should respect the rights of their fellow citizens within the period of the Supreme Court releasing their verdic. If they resort to their ususal BRUTE FORCE way of maintaining order I hope they will be met with the same BRUTE FORCE from the public. Tensions are very high in the country and it needs the tactfulness of the police and army to bring peace to all.

Something is lost on us!
This is my take. On our continent, where ever there are conflicts of a serious nature, the under-girding issues border largely on some faceless entities, using situations that can ordinarily be resolved by the feuding parties themselves to their benefit. What for? To get at the resources of the country concerned, oil. rare minerals etc. The conflict starts gradually and spirals out of control. In mist of the commotion, serious business is taking place and money is being made by these faceless entities with their local pawns( like the guy in "Gone with the wind" who was doing brisk business during the war and the blockade). I call them pawns because these local guys are often clueless about the bigger agenda. As in the action movie ' Tatum' , the pawns are promised some serious cash, but the chief is on a revenge mission with his eye on the nuclear arsenal. We now have oil and I bet some faceless entities will be very happy to jump onto any little spark of commotion to do business. That to me is the real issue. It will not be Ghanaians! although a couple of crack-heads in both parties on their own may play along for their selfish ends, in the belief that it will be short-lived and they can get away with some dough. Regrets come when like Judas, they find out later much to their chagrin what the real agenda was, and helplessly look on. So who are the faceless entities? the Russian mafia, and other such groupings. I can conjecture that the political actors in this country and their cronies have made some good monies and acquired choice investments ( find out who owns the apartments selling for half-a-million dollars) for themselves that, it will be fool hardiness for any of them to do anything to disturb the peace. So let our security capos look out for the real culprits. The majority of us Ghanaians love our country!
