  yes... and because of Woyome, GYEEDA, SADA etc. The university lecturers contribute more to the economy than Woyome and they must be compensated for that.

  UTAG must not compromise on this demand because the NDC has demonstrated time and again that it cannot be trusted! Just pay them. Those meagre allowances are legitimate and enough for only one publication per year. Those poor ...

Those meagre allowances are legitimate and enough for only one publication per year. Those poor lecturers must not be compelled to use their meagre salaries to conduct research as well as publish their findings in peer reviewed journals.

  Nothing worthy of mention has been achieved during his tenure as VC and someone should scream into his ears that, his time is limited and that he is going on retirement next year despite lowering his age several years ago.

  RESEARCH AND BOOK ALLOWANCES? WHAT A HELL! WHY SHOULD GOVERNMENT PAY FOR LECTURERS' BOOK AND RESEARCH ALLOWANCE? WHAT GOVERNMENT SHOULD DO IS VOTE MONIES TO ALL THE UNIVERSITIES AND WHENEVER A LECTURER PUBLISHES THEIR RESEARCH FINDINGS OR WRITES AND PUBLISHES A BOOK THEY ARE REIMBURSED AFTER PRESENTING DETAILS OF THEIR EXPENSES. BUT THEY SHOULD NEVER BE GIVEN THE MONEY IN ADVANCE. MOST OF THE LECTURERS END UP PRINTING MANUSCRIPTS NOTES FOR STUDENTS AND CHARGING THEM FOR MONEY OR ELSE THEY FAIL THEM. SHAME ONTO THESE LAZY LECTURERS.

  A frame work of salaries have to be drawn in line with inflation for Public Sector Institutions Workers and Professionals,such as Ministers,Lecturers,Doctors,Nurses,Police etc etc,And it should be transparent and known to all especially the Professionals who would infuture like to work in our Public Institutions, In this case,Induvidual Professionals will be aware of the Condition of work and Salaries before joining our Public Sector Institutions, by so doing,I think we can avoid the unnecessary strikes by our Public Sector Workers,esp Ministers,Doctors and Lecturers.Always remember that Public Sector Institution Wokers are more of a service, Patriotism and dedication to our Country than the usual habite of fat Money Grabbing,by all means necessary attitude which has infected our Public sector Institutions With Corruption and as such has down graded our Intellects,so do think rationally before taking up a Patronise Job, Theme: Be Selfless,Dedicated And Patriotic To Mother Ghana Compatriots!
